This was my first time visiting this restaurant. I found it on Google. I was in the mood for something delicious and I hadn’t had Indian in a while. I usually go to fire n spice also in Laurel. The reviews were great so I decided to give it a try. I order the garlic naan, butter chicken, and goat Bhuna. My order was ready when I arrived, the location is small but cute. When I got home my first impressions were that the naan looked yummy, the butter chicken was brighter than I expected, the Bhuna smelled amazing, the sizes are smaller than my usual spot, and the rice I wasn’t sure if it was basmati. I tasted the rice as I really enjoy basmati rice and again idk if it was.. I’ll look at the web page. The butter chicken I would never order again and personally didn’t understand the reviews raving about it. It’s not nasty by any means but I’ve had significantly better. I can’t put my finger on what it is exactly but there was a distinct taste I didn’t care for. I hate to do so but I may actually waste it. I realized I truly do not like it after going back and attempting to keep eating more. I also disliked the chicken, it didn’t fall apart as easy as I would have liked. Big and thick chicken breast pieces. Fire n spice’s butter chicken is AHMAZZINGGG. I def recommend…. The naan was tasty! Now the goat Bhuna …. Was….. AMAZING, DELICIOUS 10/10 !! The Bhuna made up for how lacking I felt the butter chicken to be. It really truly is an amazing dish, I just wish it had more goat. But the goat it did have was so good! I would come back for that alone.

On a Sunday night, the restaurant was pretty empty despite they had a lot of take out orders. People must not want to feel the summer heat and rather stay at home. I happened to be the only dine-in customer during my first time visit, nevertheless the waiter served me very well by patiently explaining to me about their food and also answered my many questions such as how they prepared the food, what’s the ingredients, and spice level, etc. I ordered the waiter’s recommended dishes, including an appetizer of Samosa and an entree of Korma curry chicken. The Samoa was served in 2 pieces and they were larger than what I got from other Indian restaurants. It was basically deep fried and filled with peas and mashed potatoes with drizzled brown sweet and green lightly spicy sauce. It was very filling. For my entree, I asked for a spicy level of 5 (from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest spicy level) Karma curry since it would be in a safer zone. But I think next time I will go for spicy level of 8. The curry sauce is too sweet for me but probably popular for the most customers. It was pretty creamy and delicious although I wish it would be more flavorful and the chicken chick could use thighs instead of chicken breast. The Indian rice was a little bit of dry to me. Overall, I had a good experience and would return to try their weekly lunch buffet that is priced at $18.95 per person plus tax during 11:30 am to 2:30 pm M-F.

I'm updating my review because I dont know what happened. Maybe they changed cooks/owners? The food is different, the menu changed, and there was a leak above us literally right next to our table. A few inches away from our plates. This is the first time I was upset by how much it changed. The food is good, but it's doesn't touch the soul like it did before. My curry was watery like diluted. The samosa chaat was different and my favorite naan (maharaja naan) is no longer on the menu. The sweet and spicy naan is good, but not the same. I'm moving so we decided to come back for one last dinner, but we left grieving. At least I can now move in peace and not feel bad about leaving London Curry House (what it once was). I will say the service is good, but the food is not the same. To the owner/staff who worked in London Curry House before these changes, thank you for the phenomenal experience that you gave us. I'm not sure what happened but i wish you all the best. My review/photo before the changes: Everything is delicious and the staff is very kind. This place will always have a place in my heart and tummy.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at London Curry in Laurel, MD. I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for the fantastic experience that I had. Your food is excellent, and the service was responsive and prompt, and the ambience was perfect for the setting.

First and foremost, I must commend for the outstanding quality of food that was served. Every dish that I tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. From the chaats to the tandoor items (veg and non-veg) to spicy curries, each dish was a delight for the senses. The balance of flavors and textures are just right, and every element is executed with care. I highly recommend trying it for yourself – your taste buds will thank you. I have been here multiple times and consistency is the key as you would want every time.

The service at your restaurant is appreciated. All your servers are well trained and courteous. They were attentive to my needs throughout the meal, offering recommendations and ensuring that my dining experience was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. It was clear that your team was passionate about providing excellent service.

Lastly, I must commend your restaurant's ambience – where the images on the wall transport you to London. Picture of Anthony Bourdain is great tribute to the American celebrity chef.

In summary, I cannot recommend London Curry enough. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

For food lovers, do experience the...
