Hardee’s — Restaurant in Columbia

We ordered and paid. Ordered 2 simple burger meals. We were pulled up although we were the only customers. After TEN MINUTES I decided to go inside. The boy who took my order was sitting at a table on his phone. I asked him what was taking so long and he had no idea. After shuffling around he realized that the fries were not even dropped. Although they had just made the burgers (why did that take so long?!) the burgers were sitting there getting cold while they cooked my fries. I asked to talk to the manager. She kinda shuffled real slow out of the back room to talk to me. No apology, no acknowledgement that this was unacceptable or unusual. She was as useless as the other workers. Nothing was done. Nobody was held accountable. And of course, since I was pulled up right away, the system shows my food was given to me in 30 seconds and I drove away. But that’s not what happened. I waited almost twenty minutes for 2 burgers and 2 fries when I was the only customer. They didn’t care a single bit about me as a customer and were not willing to do anything for me. The manager said she can either return my money or I can wait for my food. I said I wanted the food because I’m hungry and I’ve been waiting but I think I deserve my money back too. She said no. She said she would’ve returned my money if the burgers were cold, but she stuck her hand down in the bag and said “they’re not cold” and handed me the bag and said “sorry”. One of those burgers were wrapped in lettuce so it was definitely soggy and limp. Gross. Then I had to go in AGAIN because they forgot my straws. One of the worst fast food experiences I’ve ever had. This job is simple. It’s very obvious those particular employees are lazy and don’t care...

I don't eat there at all any more; always upsets my stomach. Need healthy choices, and some employees lack the proper hygiene to be around food prep ( coughing/hacking into air others breath, eating over food while being prepared, hair hanging down when arriving to work, long nails, sagging pants). The facility is over 30 years old, not maintained, HVAC unit and air ducts not maintained; too hot indoors ( should be 70 degrees or cooler ) and indoor air stale/dry/vents dirty ( results in headaches, nausea, coughing, sore throats). Intercoms blare LOUDLY making it difficult to use bathrooms, eat, or work. Building needs bulldozed down and rebuilt towards middle of parking lot, with additional menus to view before getting to ordering station. All equipment and insides from front counter back need replacing, including electric, plumbing, and gas lines. Employees are done dirty, hours and pay lowered AND for one, records adjusted in system to say longtime employee has never made more than $11/hr ( she was up to $14.50/hr, been there 9 years). Other employees also done this way, and has been reported. There are no signs posted to make drive-thru customers aware to extinguish cigarettes so employees aren't put at risk, or to go elsewhere. Repetitive poor choice in management over the last few years means good folks don't apply, or won't stay. Giving one star rating is actually too generous. Sorriest mgmt ever in the last 2 years has destroyed everything Team Bear Creek stands for and used to be ( it was much better) and the team disgrace that took over has just returned it to the cesspool, the sewer, drug central, and totally nasty and disgrace...

First of all, they messed up my order, people work hard for the money, so whenever they treat their self to dine out, they should get what they pay for! So when I called and told them they messed up my dinner they said they would replace all the meals. I couldn’t go that night so I went the next day, and was told they would not replace all the meals they would only replace the burgers. OK that’s fine. The place was so disgusting and unclean. I almost just didn’t even want the food but that’s my hard earned money. The manager was rude. It was a lady and I guess she’s the head lady that’s what she said, acting like she paid for the food. There was trash all over the tables. Where they haven’t been picked up the place was so disorganized I will never give this place my money ever again it’s disgusting unsanitary rude head manager as well. Also, I almost forgot I’m allergic to onions and they put that on the burger I pacifically told them no onions!! The problem with these places.
