Waffle House — Restaurant in Columbia

So the one thing I like about waffle House is there open 24 hours The thing I don't like about him is the majority of the employees are rude I had to sit in there for several hours last night because I had no place to go and when I first got there there's one really sweet waitress I told her what was going on she's like yeah you're good you can stay here's as long as you need and but I ordered hash browns scrambled eggs and raisin toast and I said please did not get any brown stuff for on the hash browns so basically just you don't heat it up I don't have any teeth so little things like that when you burn the hash browns cuz you don't flip on my moving I end up so would half of them away cuz I can't eat them That's just the waste of money but I won't be able to look at my food right away cuz I delete and I looked in the back my hash browns were burnt the scrambled eggs weren't even mixed up the whole point of a scrambled egg is so it's yellow not a fluffy white with that icky yellow runny flavor now the cook that was there she looked really exhausted maybe even sick so I didn't say anything about my food normally I would but I was having a bad day so I figured she was too but then I remember every time I go into a waffle House I asked for my hash browns the same way basically just need a warmed up and everybody burns them or leave them on there so they can get that crispy brown I just wish that the cooks would actually listen or the waitresses would make sure to tell the cook how important that is because the first thing I say is I don't have any teeth I need it special you know if I was 60 years old and I had dentures what's the difference no I worked at a waffle House I did the meat section of the cooking along with every other job except management and the two other cooks that I worked with I never once seen burnt or over crispy hash browns so long story short make sure you check your food...

It is a shame that the District Manager of 4 Waffle House is cooking, texting on his phone, serving customers and you ask for your order to that just sitting there and the waitress accuse me of being rude! She is actually going back and forth with the customer! I did not care he was District Manager, HE should have known better! The waitress who got my order wrong and called it after patrons who came and sat down after I was there! But when you looked like you crawled from under a rock, managing the parking lot and not picking up orders when it called out! It was obvious she is seeking his job, but being rude will not get her there! I understand why she called me rude because her vocabulary could not extend beyond Rude! The world has forever changed due to COVID-19 the service Industry will never be the same! Columbia racist community have to work now and feel the transplants have taken...

When we walked in, there were several employees behind the counter. As we were seated, we were greeted by a waitress who promptly took our drinks, and food order.......... then she, and almost every other employee, disappeared. They all went outside, leaving this one young man to run both the grille as well as serve in the entire facility. Tables were not clear, dirty dishes and tables were left all about and those employees decided to just let him fend for himself while they all stayed gone the entire time we sat and ate...... come to find out every single one was outside. Smoking, and talking in vehicles.

Highly inappropriate. Management needs to really come check on this location. It used to be my favorite..... it's gone downhill as of late and this is a prime...
