OMG! Their croissants, baguettes, sourdough bread, and danishes are to die for. Everything is fresh baked in house. My husband loves the chicken cordon bleu sandwich. He said it was soooooo goooood! There are varieties of jam and jelly to purchase. They also have T85 Organic flour and bread flour for sale as well. If you love French bread, this is the perfect spot for you. Friendly service and a homey atmosphere. My husband and I already signed up to be a regular customer here! Can’t go back to the grocery store bread :)

Prevail Bakehouse is open in the Arts Building and it's amazing!! We've been enjoying their products at the Farmers Market, and now get to have our old favorites AND delicious sandwiches at the bakery! Delicious brownies, cookies, scones and muffins; great breads, rolls and croissants; and now fresh and amazing sandwiches! When you park on 11th, just walk up the gravel embankment near their sign and you're there! Eric and Samantha have been doing an amazing job with the space, and we love seeing them!

We've purchased a variety of items from Prevail at the Columbia farmer's market over several weeks now and I can safely say that everything we've tried has been amazing. Brownies, scones, croissants and lots and lots of breads have all been some of the best I've had in my life. If you're at the farmer's market you should definitely check them out!

Prevail Bakehouse offers breads at another level! For all of the fine foods we have access to, most of the flour used in even the best kitchens is processed ā€˜dead’ flour. When you get a loaf of Prevail bread you can tell with the taste and texture that it is something really special. The old world grains are way healthier and take the sin out of eating bread. This is the life giving bread of history, celebrated by an ancient baking technique. I also love the story, to be head baker at French Laundry and then drawn to improve on that by taking it back to the seed is impressive!

I get mine at Red Thread Farm in Leiper’s Fork, where is is available for pickup on fridays if you preorder tuesdays. Currently hooked on the City loaf or Schoolhouse...

I ordered the Matador but they kindly switched to the heartier Sourdough. It was delicious! It was dressed evenly on both sides, which was quite a pleasant surprise! The lettuce was probably the best sandwich lettuce I've ever had. Crisp, fresh and COLD shreds. The horseradish mayo was just the right balance and the white cheddar provided a nice salty complement. The roast beef didn't do much but play 2nd fiddle to the lettuce, cheese, and mayo! Lol! Overall, it was a perfect sandwich!

I also took home a French baguette. From what I can tell, it's fresh and will be phenomenal, as well.

It's small, so takeout seems to be the norm. They have fresh baked goods and preserves. You can also sign up...

The staff is amazing, the crew makes you feel like you are a friend. And then they get you hooked on the most amazing sourdoughs to the point you can't shop for bread anywhere else. I end up with mid week cravings for their metro bread when I run out. Sometimes they have experimental or single batch loaves, if you see one, buy it, you'll thank me later.

The sandwiches are amazing and I don't even want to say how delicious the shortbread cookies are because they already fly off the shelves.

Its only a matter of time before this becomes one of those small town state famous shops with a line around the block, they are that good. You'll find me standing in that line to get...
