Seawell's — Restaurant in Columbia

Seawell's did the catering for my wedding reception in December at the Lace House. All I can say is WOW. I am a hard to please person and they went over and beyond for me. Corey was absolutely wonderful! He listened to my requests and always exceeded my expectations. He incorporated my wedding theme (french black tie) into the food- making special requests. We wanted Tomato Bisque soup as an item. They didn't have it on their menu but they brought us in to sample it- and it was absolutely delicious. He ordered potatoes (we had a baked potato bar) from the exact town in Idaho my husband and I are from because we met and fell in love there. They ordered Huckleberries (Idaho's state fruit) because we wanted huckleberry lemonade. He made french tea sandwiches because of my theme, and wanted to make sure I loved everything- which I did! He served many of the hor d'oeuvres on wooden slabs and pallets because I mentioned I liked that type of display in one of our meetings. He had me create a pinterest board of display ideas and send him photos for his staff to re-create- I mean, you cannot find this kind of service anywhere else! Everything they made was delicious- we got so many compliments from our guests on the food! (Seriously, the meatballs were to die for! They are a must have!) The staff was so incredibly friendly, nice, and helpful. Everyone was so professional. They were a breeze to work with. We couldn't be more thrilled with our decision to work with Corey and Seawell's Catering for our wedding! From start to finish, the experience was flawless, and the food was absolutely delicious. Seawell's went above and beyond by not only catering our dinner but also setting up a beautiful spread for our cocktail hour, providing a lovely coffee station, and taking care of cutting and serving our cake. Corey made the entire process so easy and stress-free. He was always responsive, attentive, and genuinely a pleasure to work with.

During Hurricane Helene, Corey selflessly provided dinner for the lineworkers at no cost, and the feedback was unanimous – the food was amazing! It's clear that Corey and his team are not just in the catering business, but also in the business of spreading kindness and making a positive impact.

06.08.2019 Seawell's catered our daughters wedding at 701 Whaley St. I cannot express how much we enjoyed working with them. Corey and his staff were friendly, professional and accommodating. We had one menu picked out and then at the tasting we decided to go a completely different direction. So glad we did because WOW everyone was talking about the food! Lowcountry boil/fried okra/shrimp and grits/biscuit station and the PRIME RIB was the best I have ever tasted. It's a wonderful thing to get what you pay for but it's even better when the quality/quantity and set up is off the chain fantastic!!! Their staff and bartenders and set up/break down crew SUPER fine people. Smiles and good attitudes!
