I will start off by saying this was the worse experience at a Chic Fil A I have EVER encountered. I visited this store on Wed night 11/11/15. Let me say I have visited a lot of chick fil a restaurants from the east coast to Nevada. I ordered a soft drink and tea only. The young man waiting on me when first approaching had a attitude. I was with my daughter and I have bad eyesight so I could not see their menu board very well. I asked the young man where are the drink prices on the board to only get a UGhH and a breath blown in my face. So, no help there.I ordered 2 small drinks. He rang me up asking my name. Then I had to wait 3 minutes or so for him to pour our drinks. No one else was at the counter. So he gives me the drinks and says nothing. Not IT'S MY PLEASURE, have a nice night, have a blessed night nor kiss my ass although he did throw that attitude towards me. After I walk off then he yells in a voice unbecoming of an employee "here's your straws." I returned to get them then we sat down. I watched him closely and as soon as a fellow employee friend of his walked up with her broom the young man began to talk about me in a passive aggressive way. We read his lips and heard what he said. He, the young man asked her do you see the lady in the BLUE shirt? She turned nonchantaly looking at me and told him yes, the young man then began to rant off about the straws, actually taking some from behind the counter where they were standing shaking and explaining to her. This was a slap in my face as a customer. I then approached the young man and told him I did not appreciate him talking about me in front of my face. As a employee it is wrong to gossip, create a hostile enviroment, talk about customers within ear reach of the customer. As a general manager in the food industry for over 30 years this is not proper behavior and should never had happened on anyones watch. I think the young man needs further training in customer interaction and if he doesn't want to work there then he should find another career. To top this all off, when I approached him about this he laughed in my face as I walked away. I then called today on 11/12/15 to ask for the regional managers name, I was told they don't have one. I then asked for the owners name and number and was again told they don't have one. After being asked if the second GM could help, I said no thankyou I believe this is a problem that needs to handled by someone higher than a second GM, they young man on the phone then laughed and said okay and hung up. BECAUSE I WORK AT THE HOSPITAL DOWN FROM THEM. I WANTED TO BUY MY DAUGHTER, 5 YEAR OLD GRANDDAUGHTER, AND MYSELF DINNER AFTER I GOT OFF. MY GRANDDAUGHTER HAS AUSTISM DISABILITY. I EXPLAINED THIS TO THE MANGER OF THE STORE, MY GRANDAUGHTER WILL NOT EAT THE FRIED WITH THE SALT ON THEM. I ALREADY KNEW THEY WILL NOT JUST DROP FRIES IF YOU ASK FOR FRIED WITH NO SALT. SO I DIDN'T ASK THEM TO DO THAT. I ASK THE YOUNG LADY WHO WAS THE MANAGER OF THE STORE COULD I JUST WAIT UNTIL THEY DROP ANOTHER BATCH AND BEFORE THEY PUT IT IN THE SALT CAN THEY THAN GIVE ME MY GRANDDAUGHTER WITH NO SALT. THIS MANAGER SAID NO THEY STILL WOULDN'T DO IT, FOR HER, EVEN IF I WAIT TIL THEY DROP MORE FRIES. THIS MADE NO SENSE AT ALL TO ME. SO YOU HAVE TO DROP FRIES BACK THERE ANYWAY, I DIDN'T MIND WAITING UNTIL YOU DO ON YOUR TIME, FOR MY GRANDDAUGHTER. YOU CAN'T JUST GET THE FRIES OUT WITH NO SALT FOR HER BEFORE YOU DUMP THEM IN SALT. Read moreI went through the drive-thru and asked to do a card/cash split payment. I needed to have cash on me. I asked for $15 to be taken from a $20 bill and the rest to be put on the card so I can have $5 cash in return. I wasn’t given a receipt. I get my food and look in the bag to double check everything, it looked correct until I opened the box of chicken nuggets I ordered. It was supposed to be a 12 count nugget. I was given 8 nuggets in the 12 count box. The box for the 12 count is larger. I was 4 nuggets short. So when I went back inside to get cash back and my nuggets, the manager tried to invalidate my point because I WAS NOT GIVEN A RECEIPT at the drive thru. But I told them I wasn’t given one. Luckily, there was a receipt copy taped on the side of the bag (the down side was that receipt didn’t have price breakdown of what was charged on the card and cash. The manager tried to invalidate what I was saying. Then a cashier had to tell him what I was trying to explain and that cashier helped me more than the manager.
