Good coney dogs, mild chili on top but they have side sauces for more heat if you wish. The bun just melts it's so soft. The spaghetti was tasty as well. I would recommend it! But the best is just their hospitality, friendly kind family run business, great values and a book to sign if you need prayers :)

I had the coney spaghetti and it was great! Very friendly people, and the homemade hot sauces were awesome. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area. Just be aware that it seems to have two names - Dad's and Talita's. That threw us at first.

Was in the mood for a good hot dog and man this did not disappoint . Simple and delicious . They offer a ton of different food options. Was hesitant on getting it coney style but so glad I did . Even had a frozen slushie drink!! 10/10

I’d give a 2.5 if possible. Perhaps my expectations were too high after losing the previous wonderful hot dog joint. I went for two cheese conies, fries, and my son had a garden salad with chicken added.

First, the good.

Prices are very reasonable for what you get. Service was quite good, we ordered whilst at Target and then waited only about five minutes.

Now the bad, the French fries were blah. I suspect they aren’t doing the traditional double fry method. They were barely golden and on the floppy non crispy side.

The hot dogs were traditional plain steamed dog. (I suspect steamed because they weren’t water logged like boiled.). The bun, I can’t tell if it was steamed or just got steamed after it was wrapped.

But the really bad, the sauce. I mean you go there for the sauce am I right? There was no flavor at all. I don’t taste cumin, or cinnamon, or pepper, nothing. It tasted like boiled ground beef mixed in plain tomato sauce. My son said the chicken on the salad also had no flavor.

I know I’m hard to please coming from Toledo where we have three great coney shops, but it was so disappointing.

I wanted to like the place but I’ll stick to DQ. (I LOVE Ritzys but not the bread bun thing.)

Suggestions for improvement:

Griddle the dogs and buns a bit before serving. Add some flavor! Spices open the taste buds.

Double...

As another small local business owner, I wanted to share my experience and learn more about how Talitas came to be. Frank the owner sat down with me to share the history of Talitas and the famous coney dogs. I have followed them with their locations from Clintonville, Grove City and back up to Columbus/Upper Arlingtion/Grandview area. Our team @Clear Water Prowash took this video to also share with...

Not many times when you walk into a restaurant, does an employee genuinely ask you how you are doing and if everything in your life is okay. I believe it was the owner but not positive as this was my first time - but him asking me this really stuck out. Extremely genuine, feel at home, customer service and great food. I got 2 coneys and fries - both very tasty and fresh and hot. I will be back. Support these kinds of...
