Dragon House — Restaurant in Columbus

I've gone to the place 15-20 times. Food is good but pricey. I will no longer be coming back to this dump again for the reasons below. Last week they gave me the wrong food. I called and the main lady who usually answers the phone wanted proof that they gave me the wrong food, which is fine. I live 10 minutes away, which I why I was a little annoyed, but mistakes happen. She told me I would get a credit for my next meal when I come in. I texted her a picture of the order. After she got the picture she immediately started berating the lady over the phone who handed me my order. She was screaming and yelling at her while I was on the phone. I could not under what she was saying as she was yelling at her in Chinese. No doubt about it that she was scolding the lady who handed me my order. When I came back in, I did not see the main lady (I believe she's the owner) but I saw the lady who handed me the incorrect food the first time. She was very sorry for what happened. I asked her if I would be getting a credit and she told me just to tell the main lady next time and I'm good. As she hands me the order I can tell she's really upset. She tells me she's quitting. I told her it's okay that mistakes happen and not to quit. She told me that I was very nice but it had nothing to do with me. I am pretty sure I know why. She was treated like garbage for making a mistake. She deserves better than this. Yesterday I called in to get my free meal. I told her that she said I get a credit next time and she immediately got an attitude with me and was questioning to me as to why she would give me a free meal when she gave me the correct order last week after coming back in. She completely changed her tune when I went to get my free meal. I guess she couldn't comprehend the inconvenience it was for me to have to drive another 20 minutes and waste gas because of their mistake. After the way she treated that lady, I was going to get my free meal and never return. I ended up hanging up the phone and went elsewhere for dinner tonight. Stay away from this place. It's a dump too, it looks dirty and cluttered when you immediately walk in. Right behind the counter they have clutter everywhere. I looked past it before, but it makes you question if they are doing the right things in preparing the food. This dumper fire will be out of business by the end of the year. When I started coming 6 months ago, they had over a 4 star rating. They have dropped...

We have ordered from here MANY times since they first started offering delivery (when they opened?). The food has always been really good and delivery reasonable. it's not McDs. It takes them time to prepare and then deliver. The volume of food you get for the price is fantastic. The food... well..

In the past the food has been AMAZING. We tend to order a combo General Tso chicken, chicken lo-mien and either cashew chicken or sweet and sour chicken. After delivery it's around $25, but can easily feed 6 people. Today we ordered, and it seems they've changed something. The egg rolls were not full of good veggies, instead had some diced up bits of something. They were still crispy, but the taste was off. They were bland, with the occasional bitter taste. The chicken lo-mien, which is my absolute favorite, was full of veggies, just the way I like it. Except, I took a bite full of veggies and literally spit it out. They were bitter.

I hope they go back to the old supplier. The stuff they're serving now isn't worth the price I paid. Will give it another chance, or even two, since they do have a long track record of superior food.

Yes, service can be an issue. Their English skills aren't the best. The guy who cooks often is cooking and answering the phone. I will live with that for good...

I believe the lady working last night was co-owner or managing for the night. I explained to her Ive been coming to this spot for 7 years and never had issues with their food. Twice last night I was basically told to kick rocks. I got home with my food which Ive never had an issue with it being old from this place. The ingredients they used made me and my fiance sick. We are out $40 and they claim the food was fresh. I have a food safety certification in ohio and that food was at least an hour old they served us the only thing fresh was rice and vegetables. Their meat was very dry and the sauce was congealed onto my General Tsos chicken. My fiance said their Kung Po chicken did not taste like it usually did and only ate a few more bites. My general tsos chicken I took one bite and spit it out into a trash can. I took both of the platters of food back to the store. The lady said because no one else complained yesterday that she could not remake my food, or refund me my money. With that being said Ive been a long term customer and after that disrespect from their staff and the fact that my fiance has food poisoning they will never get another transaction out of me. Its nice to see another good buisiness go down hill...
