I ordered the princess chicken with snow peas to go. I was there with a friend and we both got our orders to go. I asked for mine spicy and I ordered sticky rice. When we got to my apartment and started to eat we were watching TV so I wasn't really paying attention to (looking at) my food I just started eating. First of all they gave me fried rice and the entree was not spicy at all, in fact it was flavorless. As I continued eating I noticed that everything had the texture of mush, I couldn't tell there was chicken in the dish. I made a point of getting several pieces of chicken in the next bite this time I really noticed how mushy the chicken was, I spit it out and went into the kitchen to get a good look at what I was eating. THE CHICKEN WAS PINK AND MOSTLY RAW! Even the pieces that looked cooked had no texture whatsoever just like eating baby food. I threw the whole mess away I was so grossed out about the chicken. It wasn't long (a few hours) and I had my answer, I had food poisoning worse than the time I had it from bad seafood. I was terribly sick for the next 12 hours and couldn't eat anything else for almost two days. Everyone had always told me I needed to try this place because it was so good. When I finally did it was the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten and in my life I've had lots of Chinese food from many many restaurants all over the country. I will never go back...
Read moreI ordered the Kung Pao chicken and when I got my food it was very different than any other kung pao chicken I've ever had. That's fine I'm open to new things but honestly it was very weird looking. I went to take a bite and noticed that my chicken was slimy and basically raw. I'm not the kind of person to send food back but this was clearly not cooked and honestly really gross. I asked for either something different or if he could "overcook" the chicken and pointed out to him that it was clearly undercooked. He was really nice about it but when I got my replacement kung pao chicken it was even more undercooked than the first time and absolutely not edible because I'm not going to put myself in a position to get sick because someone else doesn't know how to cook chicken properly. I wish I would have taken pictures of it but I will never ever eat there ever again if that's what they're doing out in the open what are they doing that...
Read moreI ordered Hunan Chicken and the food was very tasty but it seemed to be prepared quite differently than most Chinese restaurants (quite a bit sweeter and with a different vegetable composition and contained no hot dried peppers).
I ordered my food as a dinner "to go" but when I came in I was disappointed that the portion size seemed equal to a "lunch" size at competing Chinese restaurants. I even offered to pay more to "upgrade" the size but they told me that there was no larger size. The restaurant looked very, very clean and the people were quite friendly...
