Westside neighborhood spot, first time in . I rate five stars across the board, as this is definitely my opinion. And I'm a very particular being.

I searched westside fried fish as I've been craving fish all summer and have no idea where to get some that will hit the spot. I will still be on the hunt for that however.

I ordered the catfish 15 piece meal with fries well done. Added slaw and banana pudding. Which I will pass on the next go around. The taste of the slaw was fine just needed a bit of pepper however a little to runny for my liking. As I have a texture issue. The pudding is just instant which again some may be coo with however not at 3.99 for me. 3.99 homemade with some sliced banana to top with vanilla wafers yes you can have my 4.00

All in all food was good! Oil was fresh the fish nor fries taste of old oil. Remember to check that your food is well done if you have that texture issue I spoke of above. 20.00 total.

So, I have been in this mode of sick of the same old same old and have been trying new places to support more family owned restaurants or take outs. I needed to grab take out for a long work day that's going into the next morning and decided to look up food near me, I'm craving wings, and hate traveling to my fav wing place (crazy chicken and fish) on the south side . found this and its not far from work. The employees were very nice and informative with all my questions, polite and helpful to the fullest. When I told him my fav wing place I was very excited to find out that's his brother and I just ordered my fav wings at a closer location! Also ordered a very reasonably priced 4 pc catfish dinner so we could try it and everyone loved it.
