Very homey and comforting meal. It's very similar to other Middle Eastern cuisine like Iraqi or Egyptian. Came in for iftar and felt very at home. The server was accommodating to my sister's kids requests. Because it was iftar, the restaurant staff complimentary served everyone broth soup to break the fast. Our group ordered the Beef Kofta platter, Lamb Zerbian and Chicken Agda. Overall portions were great. Lamb was perfectly cooked and tender. Ton of rice. Veggies were a bit cold. There was a slight disorganization because of how busy they were but handled the service well. End of the meal, staff served us cardamon black tea, again complimentary. Great experience, will return to try other dishes!

We were here Jan 2025 for lunch. Falafel sandwich is typical Turkish or Mediterranean taste. Really good. Chicken shawarma and lamb hanid also great dishes. This is a great place to taste Yemeni food in Columbus area. There are few Arabic restaurants in the area and this is one of the best restaurants. Meal start with a lamb soup (free), with coriander in it. You must try their ginger tea after the mark, it’s at the counter, it’s free and best ginger tea I have tasted, Would like to go there again

Best hidden gem in the area this place just felt like home when I walked in the door nothing but smiles and accommodations but the food super fresh very tasty and the portions was insane I ordered a 12 piece of falafel and some hummus and they gave me a whole meal and delicious tea while I waited this will definitely be my go to place whenever I’m in Columbus and I’m a native Detroiter and if you know we take our Middle East food very seriously 😂 and this was definitely top tier.

We recently had the distinct pleasure of working with King of Almandi Yemeni Restaurant for a special event, and I can say without hesitation that they delivered one of the most unforgettable catering experiences we’ve ever had. They prepared a whole lamb, and it was nothing short of spectacular—a true culinary masterpiece. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender, infused with rich, aromatic spices, and presented with elegance and authenticity that instantly captivated our guests.

From the very first bite, it was clear we were experiencing something extraordinary. Every detail—from the seasoning to the perfect slow-cooked texture—reflected an unparalleled mastery of traditional Yemeni cuisine. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food; many said it was the best lamb they’ve ever had.

Equally impressive was the professionalism of the team. They were punctual, organized, and incredibly attentive, ensuring everything was flawless from start to finish. Their passion for what they do shines through in every aspect of their service.

If you are looking to truly elevate your next event with unforgettable food and five-star service, King of Almandi Yemeni Restaurant is simply the gold standard. We will absolutely be returning for future events—they have earned our highest praise and...

I am originally from Qatif of Eastern Arabia. I have had very good exposure to the authentic Yemeni cuisine back home. I had shawarma and fries I think in my first trip to this restaurant prior to the pandemic. That was not very smart of me to get something out of their original cuisine. I don't remember how my experience was. Probably not worth remembering.

Today 11/10/2022 was my second attempt. I ordered chicken Madhbi. I normally don't like chicken but I knew how the Madhbi will be if it is prepared the authentic Yemeni way. My dish had the rice, multi-colored and seasoned, grilled chicken on the stones, the small sauce aka daqqos which looks like the salasa, and free collagen infused soup :). I was very pleased with the taste of everything. It was very authentic.

The restaurant has dinning tables but the atmosphere is very simple. If you're looking for a fancy dinning in experience, the restaurant is not what you need. If you are after the good authentic tasty Yemeni food this place is the right place for you.

The restaurant is about 30 minutes away from my place. I happen to be around it today but it definitely worth the drive!

I might edit this post after trying...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at King Of Almandi Yemeni Restaurant, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed. The restaurant's warm and welcoming ambiance, coupled with its delicious and authentic Yemeni cuisine, made for an unforgettable dining experience.

The restaurant's menu boasts a wide variety of traditional Yemeni dishes, all of which are expertly prepared using only the freshest ingredients. From the succulent lamb dishes to the aromatic rice dishes, each dish was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection.

Furthermore, the restaurant's staff was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring that every aspect of my dining experience was enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend King Of Almandi Yemeni Restaurant to anyone looking for a truly authentic and delicious...
