Micek’s Shangri-la Bar — Restaurant in Columbus

Always loved coming here definitely during holiday events (such as Halloween or New Years) it’s great they are getting more business, but it’s like they are out growing their space. Went tonight for Halloween and it was way too crowded and overwhelming. Had to wait 20 min to get helped. The girl working the main part tonight helped the person in front of us and then didn’t come back the guy working the other side of the bar with the beard ended up coming over and helping us. I was visiting from out of town and the original place I was planning to visit was closed upon my arrival. I walked over to Micek’s to see if they were serving food and I unfortunately had just missed last call. Instead of just turning me and my group away, the bartender told us to hang tight and he’d call another spot so see if they were still serving food (which they confirmed with him on the phone they were). The bar has a jukebox, and ATM you can withdraw money from for a small fee, a massive beer garden that be be open to the outdoors, and many pool tables. This bar is heavily crowded so if you are like me and hate being bumped into and rubbed up against I would not suggest going. This bar will often have bands come in and play live.
