New Hunan King — Restaurant in Columbus

Ordered from this restaurant for the first time ever. I used the Door-Dash app which worked flawlessly. We ordered 2 orders of Szechuan Chicken.

Pro: We received our entire order correctly. The serving size is generous. The assortment of vegetables is far better than most competitors. The quality and quantity of chicken is well above average.

Con: Szechuan Chicken is a spicy dish. They seem to have lost their way when it comes to spicy dishes. There is ZERO heat level, ZERO peppers in the meal and overall, it delivers a failing grade for the dish if the main element cannot be delivered. The pork egg rolls are poor at best.

Overall: Although we like a variety of Chinese dishes, Szechuan is by far our go-to favorite. We likely will pass on this restaurant in the future based solely on the failure of our...

Terrible experience! We use to live nearby and drove an hour round trip to pick up food from here. When we got home we saw they forgot our soup, gave us white rice instead of friend and one of our lunch meals was supposed to be sesame but was a 2nd general tso. I called and they said to come back I explained that we were not driving another hour. He said to come tomorrow I explained that I would just like the money back for the lunch special that is wrong ($9 of a $75 bill). They put me on hold for a long time and came back and told me that it wasn’t wrong and I was lying. I now have no lunch for my child (he is 2 and can’t do the spice of general tso and his soup is missing) and the owner is supposed to call back. I ordered Mongolian beef on doordash from them. Mongolian beef (way overpriced amd disgusting) should only have white onions and scallions. They put green beans, mushrooms, carrots and green bell peppers. Very little meat. All the extra vegetables that don't belong took up more than half of the container. The fried rice was junk too. The egg rolls had no flavor and came with no sweet amd sour sauce. No option to add sauce on door dash. I added special instructions on door dash for sweet and sour sauce and got none. This place is extremely sub par. I do not recommend. No flavor at all to the actual few pieces of Mongolian beef that were chewy and bad pieces of meat.
