The food was tasty. However, when we received our food it was cold-ish, as if the food wasn't freshly made and/or had been sitting out too long without being properly heated. Since my family and I were driving across states, we did not have any place to heat it up and unfortunately we noticed well after we were already on the road. Nonetheless, we still ate it. I got sick within 30mins-hr after eating. I had stomach pain and nausea. My husband, who also ate the food was fine, so unsure if my experience had any correlation there. I won't entirely knock this place down yet. I will give it another try in the future. The hummus was creamy and the pita was grilled perfectly.
Wife had the beef schawarma sandwich and fries. The sandwich was flakey and flavorful. The fries and sauce were good as well.
I had the Iraqi quzi, which was downright delicious. The lamb fell straight off the shank and didn't even need a knife. The rice was soft and aromatic. The golden raisins and toasted almonds just took the dish to the next level.
