Papa Joe's Pizza — Restaurant in Columbus

First time here & I highly recommend them! Staff was friendly, answered questions I had & got my order in about 15 minutes. Price is reasonable & I noticed they have daily specials. Pizza crust is thin & crispy cooked perfect. The pepperoni is the kind that the edges curl & get crispy, the good kind. The garlic bread (without cheese) was spot on. I will definitely be going back to try more of their menu items.

Update 8/12/22: Went yesterday (8/11) and was very disappointed with the pizza. The crust seemed to be some kind of premade crust you buy at Kroger's or something. This is NOT the airy, flaky, crispy crust I fell in love with & have been singing praises about to everyone I know. The crust this time was tough & chewy, too much bread & not crisp. What the heck happened Papa Joe? Don't tell me you guys are cutting corners this early in the game & using inferior quality products. 😢

Gonna have to deduct a couple stars due to changing the wonderful, delicious crust you had before to this premade poor quality crust you're serving now.

Edit again 10/14/23: I see your response & would love to give Papa Joe's another chance to redeem themselves with the crust issue, but it's kind of hard to do that when your doors are locked all the time. Going during business hours, 'Open' sign is lit, people working in the kitchen, but the doors are locked. Have stopped by several times in the past couple months at different times & have found the doors locked when clearly there are people inside working. Are you a "delivery only" restaurant? We are a 3 minute drive from this location and ordered from them on saturday night(2/1/25) after a long family trip we were all hungry. We wanted to give them a try, the food was late, but it was hot and good! So we decided to order from them again tonight(2/5/25) because they were so good the 1st time! The food was supposed to be delivered at 5:42pm(we ordered at exactly 5:00 pm!) I watched the tracker and saw the food was picked up at 542pm and was on the way. I watched the tracker all the way until they pulled up at 6:20pm with Luke warm to practically cold pizza! I called the store to complain and the guy seemed like he didn't want to help me and kept saying sorry to me that I needed to call SLICE(knowing I ordered through papa joes website) and that maybe SLICE will give me a coupon or something! I asked him even though I ordered through you guys I need to contact them and he said yes. So I called SLICE and informed the representative about what was said and the representative said that papa joes should have been the ones to fix it! So he contacted papa joes about it and all papa joes said they can do is give me $5.00 back to my card and an apology! After they lied to me about one thing and told SLICE a different thing! The guy from SLICE was absolutely amazing with the help I received and was extremely helpful! Will not be ordering from these...

I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received from papa joes. As a vegetarian, I was careful to place a specific order to accommodate my dietary needs, but they failed to deliver - twice. And let me say, this is not the only time they have messed up my pizza, I was told to only place the order over the phone…which is what I did…

I ordered a BBQ chicken pizza, but explicitly asked for the chicken and bacon to be placed ON THE SIDE, with NO MEAT on the actual pizza. I repeated this request multiple times to ensure it was clear. However, when I opened the box, I was shocked to find a fully loaded meat pizza - complete with chicken and bacon.

I tried calling them for over 20 minutes, but no one answered. So, I drove to the pizza place, original pizza in hand, to ask for a replacement. I again reiterated my request for no meat on the pizza, but when I returned to pick up the remade pizza, it was again - loaded with meat.

The fact that they failed to accommodate my simple request not once, but twice, is silly. When I asked for a refund, the staff became very dismissive, and acted like it never...
