I ordered for delivery and was given a time an hour after placement for order to be ready. At 8:25 the order hadn't arrived so I called the store. The person answering was rude and stated the order was checked out at 8, I asked when it should be expected at my house as now nearly a half an hour had passed with my food wandering around Columbus and was told that it went out at 8and should get there soon. At 8:45 still no food so I called again, and after 10 minutes finally got the answer that my food was delivered elsewhere then the driver returned to pick it up and the people had eaten off of it so they were starting to remake it and would redeliver. I offered to just come pick it up and was told if I left my house then and went through the drive through it would be ready when I arrived, and was offered a $10 discount. I understand things happen, so I hopped in the car and did just that. After the drive there and waiting in line the food was not ready, I was handed a partial order and had to advise I needed the rest of my stuff, was then given the wrong thing, but the strawberry blonde young lady at the window was pleasant and attempting to be helpful. The other lady Carla was clearly trying her best to fix things for numerous customers but it seemed issues kept piling up on her and she was being pulled in 1000 directions with limited quality staff as support. Finally, at 9:35 I was pulling away from the drive through with my delivery order placed at 7pm. Upon reviewing my new receipt that I requested at the window as the charge had already went through to my bank I noted that I did receive my $10 discount but the delivery charge of $3 was still on the bill. The money in either instance was no big deal, but on principal alone I feel it is unfair for me to go through all that and pay for food to be delivered and eaten by someone else. This location needs better trained staff that communicates not only with each other but with customers as well. On another note, while the food was not as warm as I would have liked when I finally got it home it was tasty. Carla needs a raise, and the girl at the window has potential to be good management with the proper training. The delivery driver likely needs to be placed in a different position or to be trained more thoroughly. Orders incorrect, long wait times for delivery, rude customer service, drivers asking for tips because they are door dash, and the electronic tip you included went to the store and not to them! So we switched locations AGAIN because.... we're stupid, and keep trying the same crap over and over, trying to get a semblance of the pizza we once loved. And so, we tried the Demorest branch this time.
Ordered a pizza for pickup, because we will NEVER use delivery for Donatos stores ever again. Get the pizzas home and one is missing pepperonis... But the charge for them sure isn't missing from my credit card.
The lady at the call center tried several times to get them to pick up the phone for us. She couldn't. In the end, we hung up with an apology and basically 'welp, you're screwed." Seriously. She told us there was NOTHING AT ALL SHE COULD DO IF THEY REFUSED TO PICK UP THE PHONE!
So this is your game huh? There's no problem if we refuse acknowledge it? The numbers probably come across real good. No complaints in who knows how long, right?
My husband is driving up there now, a SECOND trip. So now, despite not using delivery, we've STILL paid extra to get our pizza home, because we had to double up the gas to get there and back.

Read moreI went to the Sullivant Ave location on 5/5/23. (On the corner of Sullivant and Demorest.) This place dropped the ball on so many levels. I ordered a Big Don sub. I've attached a picture of it. Would you eat that? I went back to the location to get a replacement sub. It was hours later when I took it back due to having to work because the sub was for my lunch. Which since the sub was not eaten and it was still in the condition I received it, there shouldn't have been a problem replacing it. I walked in the store a little after 6pm. There were at least 4 or 5 employees working. I stood at the counter for at least 5 minutes before someone came up to help me. Finally, someone came up and I asked for the manager. He said, "I am." Which I was very surprised because he came from the back horse playing and was using profanity. I explained my situation and he said he couldn't take it back that the sub I had was clearly from there but that's how they make them. Then pointed out how it was hours later that I brought it back. I explained why and his exact wording was "It doesn't matter and I'm not taking it back." I was so shocked. I asked him his name and stated I was contacting corporate. He said, "I'm Joey and I am the General Manager." I'm in the process of reaching out to corporate now.
