Preston Eatery — Restaurant in Columbus

My husband and I were at a doctor's appointment and decided to try a new place to eat. We decided on Preston Eatery, and we're both so glad we did! The food is absolutely delicious! My husband and I were also impressed with the restaurants very obvious loyal following!

At Preston Eatery you can drop in and pick up a quick fresh meal from their refrigerater or you can order from their menu. My husband and I ordered and split a salad and ordered two sandwiches that we also split. Everything was absolutely delicious and we'll definitely be back!

The indoor area is very small but that's definitely okay with us. We always eat our restaurant food at home. They do have a table outside as well. The staff at this restaurant also seems to be like family and we think that's conducive to running a successful business and successful restaurant. It certainly seems to be working for Preston Eatery!

I was in this plaza visiting a pharmacy and needed some lunch before I went back to work and I happened upon this place. Immediately upon walking in one of the super-friendly staff greeted me and asked what I would like, I had checked out the menu online before walking in and settled on the B.L. Turkey, which comes with Homemade Turkey Breast, Havarti Cheese, candied bacon, and Boursin Mayo. The lady who waited on me very helpfully walked me through adding on some chips and a drink to my order before tip I was looking at about $12. Pretty standard for a nicer lunch.

Little did I know how well priced that sandwich was, it was absolutely huge served on hot focaccia. (Don't know if that was home made as well but perfectly chewy and delicious) The turkey was perfectly tender and that boursin mayo was a delicious bit of genius. Herb-cheese mayo? Yes. Please. I cannot express how grateful I am to this establishment!!! My elderly parents are ages 95 and 83, and recently discovered Preston Eatery upon suggestion of their good friend. They are at a point where cooking is a struggle for them. I have gone to many sources to find healthy meals for them in Columbus that they can pick up and eat at home. Most takeout food is either really unhealthy or disappointing to them. I’ve tried so many places. They love the food so much at Preston that they feel TREMENDOUS RELIEF that they can eat healthy and do not have to do the elaborate cooking that they once loved but exhausts them now.
