The inside was beautiful and the waitstaff was very friendly and kind. But this is a place that spent a bunch of money on the decor and the food was meh at best.

I got the crispy chicken sandwich with ratatouille. My partner got the stone burger with fries. We also got a bottle of wine and the bruschetta.

His burger was burnt and bland. The truffle fries were no different than the regular fries.

My chicken sandwich was also dry and was desperately missing the honey mustard sauce as it was advertised on the menu.

The ratatouille was ice cold even though the cast iron dish it was served in was hot; which makes me wonder if it was microwaved.

They quickly did take the ratatouille back and brought out a new hot one though when we explained that issue but the sauce on top was bland like everything else. A little garlic, salt and pepper would have helped immensely.

Even getting into the building was a confusing effort. The area right in front of the entrance was used for parking but then you have to shuffle against the cars parked there to get to the sidewalk and front door. This also has me questioning the ADA compliance as there was no handicapped parking by the entrance, no entry point for wheelchair access or walker assistance from the parking lot.

There wasn't a sign to say if we needed to wait to be seated or if we could seat ourselves so we stood there for close to 10 minutes before being greeted by any staff members.

The bathrooms are oddly set up with only soap by one sink, and the hand dryer over by the urinal so it makes do an odd dance with other patrons in the restroom and you feel unclean even after you washed your hands.

The menu was missing prices on some items, essential notes about ingredients for menu items and the pizza selection seemed lacking for a place that had a giant pizza oven.

Overall, the place seemed confused about their identity and paying the $80 bill (tip included) for bland, burnt, dry and overall...meh cuisine left us both disappointed and knowing that we won't return...

This place is GREAT! Food is always delicious 😋 I like the potstickers, the fish tacos, the ribeye, the French fries, their burgers are totally yummy--there are so many other yummy looking things that I have not yet gotten to try. The waitresses are all really pretty and friendly. It's just a great place. We'll be back. :) And thank you for the great customer service. The ONLY thing that I would say that is not ideal is that when they check you out...the waitresses litterally stand there while the guy looks at the hand held device and reviews the bill...and then the guy pays and the waitress goes away....now. .I do not have a PHD in psychology....but ummmm...I am thankful that I am not a guy....uuummmm...most engineers, architects, accountants, surgeons, in my opinion DO NOT like to be rushed.....and this is the most strange way to check out people....in my opinion it is extremely odd....and awkward.....I said to my honey....that's a weird way to check out people....(he is MUCH more laid back than I)...and he (passive as he is 🙄) said...well....a lot of places do the checkout like that now. I thought...oh my gosh!....I am no marketing major....but no matter how good the food is... if you give people an awkward check out procedure....they aren't coming back. The check out procedure is weird in my opinion....at other restaurants...they have those little screen things at the table....and you have time to inspect the bill....and there's no rush.....members of the public just want a little time to check over the bill.....I am not a guy....but if I am about to drop 80 or 100 bucks on dinner.....I just want to see on what I was spending my money....sadly....I guess....things are not like the old days where you get a printed check. Now....I will say that our very pretty waitress offered a copy of the bill....after the fact....but I can tell you that ...that's not going to make the average accountant, engineer, architect, surgeon, or many...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Stone Bar & Kitchen, and I can confidently say it’s an extraordinary experience. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is inviting and vibrant, creating the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal. The décor blends modern elegance with cozy charm, making it an ideal spot for any occasion.

But it’s the food and service that truly set Stone Bar & Kitchen apart. Each dish is a masterpiece, crafted with the finest ingredients and exceptional attention to detail. Whether you're enjoying a perfectly cooked steak or savoring a delicately seasoned seafood dish, the quality of the food is consistently outstanding.

The service here is equally remarkable. Our waitress, Nisa, deserves special mention for her exemplary hospitality. Her knowledge of the menu, her attentive yet unobtrusive service, and her genuine warmth made our visit truly special. Nisa went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was flawless, making thoughtful recommendations and attending to our needs with a smile.

A Gem in the Heart of Columbus I recently had the pleasure of dining at Stone Bar and Kitchen, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a perfect blend of elegance and comfort. The decor was tasteful and created a cozy ambiance that made me feel right at home. The menu offered a variety of options, and the quality of the ingredients was exceptional. I ordered the Quinoa Kale Salad and it was simply divine. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was impeccable. I do wish there were more substantial vegan options, but it was nonetheless enjoyable. What truly set Stone Bar and Kitchen apart was the exceptional service provided by our server, Marissa. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly. Marissa made us feel welcome and ensured that our dining experience was memorable. Her recommendations were spot on, and she was always there to answer our questions. If you're looking for a fantastic dining experience in Columbus, I highly recommend here! The food, atmosphere, and service are all top-notch.

UPDATE: I called the next day. Spoke to manager and chef. They both were apologetic. Explained some procedures had changed. Completely understood, being a manager in the industry. They offered to replace the meal. It was much better. Would suggest serving a bit more shrimp. Marinate shrimp more - citrus, cilantro, salt, shallots. I've been back several times since then. I usually get House Salad with Steak. Excellent! Cravable! Love the White Sangria. Order while I wait for food. Previous Visit: Ordered Shrimp Ceviche. Arrived home to find NO SHRIMP in order. Called and they said call tomorrow after 12p. All are checked out. Overheard a conversation about Ceviche. No one mentioned they were out. Also ordered Mediterranean Salad. Grilled chicken was on the side. Had to cut up the chicken. After a long shift at the restaurant, I manage. I am very disappointed to have this be the result of traveling out of my way for dinner. Live in Clintonville. Work in Worthington. Traveled to Bethel and 71 for dinner.
