Authentic Korean Gem in Fort Benning
This was my second time dining at Seoul, and once again, the food was absolutely delicious. For anyone who has lived in Korea or is familiar with true Korean flavors, this place delivers an incredibly authentic experience. It genuinely felt like eating at the home of a Korean grandma and grandpa—comforting, flavorful, and made with care.
While the restaurant itself may look a bit run down at first glance, and the mall location isn’t the most visually appealing, don’t let that fool you. What it lacks in aesthetics, it more than makes up for in flavor and warmth. The owners are very kind and welcoming, and the whole vibe feels like a hidden local treasure.
They also offer Korean BBQ for those wanting a more interactive dining experience, and even have a karaoke bar if you’re up for some fun after your meal.
I will definitely keep coming back whenever I’m craving Korean food....
Read moreI’m going to be completely honest as I always am. I believe that can encourage others to do better with honesty. The older hostess didn’t really come off as friendly. The food I got (some chicken and rice with Korean side dishes) was horrible. I was surprised. I never had disgusting Korean food but it was. The bean sprouts and broccoli tasted expired! It looked right but tasted old and expired. The rice was okay. The chicken, I couldn’t finish. Nothing tasted fresh. The only pleasant thing was the pickled dish and pickled things don’t need to be fresh. I was so disappointed that day. I didn’t finish my food at all. I mostly ate rice and the pickled dish and I threw the rest in the trash. If you’re going to give, please give your best. I do not plan to return to that restaurant ever or...
Read moreI grew up on authentic korean food and this is not it!! I’ve never been to a restaurant where I absolutely hated everything that we ordered until I came here. Food is NOT fresh and you could especially tell with the sides. Fish cake had a straight up freezer burn taste. Bibimbop was the most bland bowl of a mess I’ve ever had and it’s one of the easier dishes to make. My husband said the “korean dish” tasted like Chinese food (he hates Chinese food). Waitress never refilled our waters. She was hanging out with a group of friends or family in the other room which wasn’t a big deal but we were waiting on our check. Had to ring the bell twice to get her to finally come out. So if your looking for good korean food this is absolutely not the...
