We paid for 3 chicken taco special w/rice which is 10.00. We paid 12.00 plus tax. When we received our plates it had no rice in it. When we asked for our rice they told us they just rung us up for 3 chicken tacos. However the menu on the truck states 3 chicken taco special w/rice is 10.00. They told us we didn’t ask for rice. Excuse me but that is the only item on your menu. There is NO and repeat NO 3 chicken taco only on the Menu just 3 chicken taco special w/ rice. When they refused to give us rice we ask for our money back and they Refused and their us NO sign that states No refund so it’s either you give us what we paid for or give us our money back. Eventually they gave us what we paid for after going back and forth with them. Also we wanted to order smoothies because it was ON THE MENU and looked good but they do not have smoothies in reality. Food is good but customer service is bad. Workers are rude as if we owe them something. Also Menu NEEDS to be UPDATED ASAP. Customers need a solid menu to review to make ordering a more...
Read moreI am originally from Chicago and adjusting to the subpar Mexican food in Georgia has been one of the hardest parts of living down here for 15 years. I RARELY eat at the same Mexican restaurant more than once or twice and I eat Mexican food A LOT… however, Taco El Paisa has changed that. Since discovering this spot a few months ago, I have eaten there 10+ times.
This is an authentic Mexican restaurant and is NOT the kind of food that is geared towards the gringos so don’t come here expecting a flavorless, unseasoned, spice-less meal. It is freshly made and has a good amount of spice and flavor. I usually get a veggie burrito which is huge, filled with beans, rice, cheese, guacamole and veggies. It comes out piping hot and freshly made.
This place is always packed and seems to be busy at all times of day and all days of the week, especially during lunch, dinner and late nights on weekends.
This will be my main Mexican spot so long as I am living in...
Read moreThis is the best Mexican food I've ever had. Period. I went twice yesterday and came back today because I couldn't get enough. I'll probably come back later too. Just take my money Taco El Paisa, you deserve every penny. Everything I've tried has been flavorful and delicious. I like that it's laid back but well organized. The staff are friendly and patient. The music is fire. My favorite part is the self-service toppings cart that has 3 different sauces (the creamy green one is my favorite), diced onions, lettuce, cucumber salad, radishes, lime wedges, and fresh cut cilantro. I love their rice. I could eat a big bowl of it with nothing added. They have a wide selection of items. The chicken tacos and chicken burrito were amazing! I like that the burrito was wrapped well and didn't fall apart. I'll be back to try the elote, tortas, tostadas, and fresh fruit cups. Seriously my new favorite...
