We bought our first couch from Ace Furniture in early December of last year. We had never bought furniture before so the entire process was new to us. Our sales representative was not helpful at all. We each had questions about everything & she told us what we wanted to hear, not the truth. We did not know our couch would be placed under an agreement with a company called Okinus, we were told the interest rate was low. We were not told that we would have a 90 day period interest free to pay off the couch otherwise we’d be paying almost triple the amount. (Luckily, we found that out & paid it off before that 90 day period was up.) The entire process was very difficult & when we gave her a card to put money down on the couch, there was an error in the system and it declined our card multiple times. We gave her 5 different cards to try to put down our deposit on this couch (which by the way was a $1.10, we had well over that in the bank) & each one got declined. She then said it was a problem with our cards & not with Ace Furniture. Okinus, the credit union our couch payments have went through, has been a pain to deal with. We paid the couch off in February this year & they have tried to charge us $4,000 more just now even though we have already paid off our couch. This entire process has been nothing but awful & I will never be going back to Ace Furniture for anything. I wanted a sofa set and some chairs, she had to get the price for the chairs. She went to someone for the price while I stood around waiting. She kept talking with others, I sat down, waited patiently. A good 20mins go by and I get an agreement via email to sign, she never even discussed the total pricing. I confronted her- her response was that she’s been doing this for many years. I didn’t see any relevance in the statement so I left. She followed behind only to use sarcasm and be rude. Mid sentence she walked off talking to someone else. Horrible customer service. Will not be making my purchase there and I will surely share my experience with others!! She loss her husband’s sale!! Read moreSupposedly the table set I bought was “on sale” yet I didn’t get the sale price. Instead I got charged $100 more and another $200 for the bench alone. I even took a pic of the sale price and all the details are there, bench included. Also, they call to give you the time they’re delivering but show up two hours after. I called to ask for an update and the white lady that works there in the front yelled at me. The same one that was yelling in the store to a customer in front of everybody. Maybe she should look for another job if she’s so miserable. Also if you have questions don’t bother looking for anyone in the store to help you. They’ll pretend they don’t see you and ignore you. Or if you don’t give them the answer they want to hear, they’ll walk away from you. If I didn’t want this table so bad I would have went else where.
