Slapping wings llc — Restaurant in Columbus

This place seemed ok when I went in, mind you im serve safe certified and been in the food industry my whole working life, the food smelled nice but I noticed it was dingy in there and all was going well until a cockroach crawled across my table! This means the back where the food is also has roaches and possibly other critters. This makes me question the food handling and freshness as all the places I've worked never had any bugs as we were clean and kept the food fresh. The food came after that and my boyfriend bit into chicken that was bloody and that was it. I was done at the bug and didn't touch my food, but men... they weird and he bit it and sure enough raw, raw enough to answer why it crossed the road. Beware eating here as he was sick for days after and I still have the vision of the giant roach just chilling in the room...

This place does indeed slap. Got a 10pc wing with fries and okra and everything slapped. Staff is nice and it’s clear that take pride in their restaurant. Gonna be my go to wing joint from now on.

Edit: Knocking off a couple of stars because the last two times I’ve been here the wings were microscopic. Spent $25 on what felt like a small appetizer. Hope they can figure out their supply issues soon or at least adjust...

DELICIOUS - 5* Our family really enjoyed the meal. The wings were cooked to perfection chefs kiss the slappin spicy garlic sauce is so flavorful, can't wait to try another sauce in the future. We also tried Mac and cheese, yum, fried okra, onion rings and fries. They were all well cooked and delicious. Thanks for being so good.
