Clowns galore 🤡
As with the name, this place is the clown capital! Being noted online as a roadside attraction, when we were on a mini trip to Columbus with our kids, we just had to stop by. This place has clowns everywhere and I mean everywhere! They are on the walls, the ceilings, and there’s even a sign that says that the clown collection is not for sale, so they must’ve had people that have asked. They have clown piñatas, dolls, figurines…you name it, it is there!
The plus of this location, they have ice cream! They also have lots of different types of candies, including those in penny style form. So if your child has a nickel with them, they are able to get a piece of candy in the nickel section. You don’t see places like this that much anymore so it’s very reminiscent of, my childhood at least which was growing up in the 80s. I would definitely suggest this as a stop in if you’re looking for things to do in the area. Was definitely something different and fun to see!
Workers are very polite and we had a nice time for the few minutes that we had popped in. Will be back!
*If you are someone who has a fear of scary clowns, you are fine. There are none that are scary.
If you are triggered by any type of clown, I might rethink going or send someone else in if you are getting ice cream or candy. I wouldn’t skip it all together, let whoever is with you experience it, but have them bring you something out if you are triggered by even the friendliest clown doll.
Delivery and take out available. Credit and debit cards accepted.

Read moreI ALWAYS gotta show clown cone some love! They are still very reasonably priced, despite price inflation everywhere else in the world. I mean, of course the prices have gone up a little over the last couple of years... but he's also paying more money to stock his store too...they have a good mix of ol skool candy and newer type candy...they also have a pretty good size selection of icecream, chips, and slushies...and if you went to school in Columbus throughout the 90's, then you have to know what amazing goodness the fiestada was, yeah? Well, you can re-live your middle school/ high school days and get one of those bad boys if you're feeling nostalgic! Also! Remember those peanut butter and jelly sandwich cookie bars they used to serve in the school cafeteria? WELL YOU GUESSED IT! THEY GOT EM TOO! So if you feel like getting a blast from the past...for an affordable price...clown cone is definitely that joint! And I'm definitely not the only person who loves clown cone, because it doesn't matter what time you go...it's usually STACKED!! Shoulder to shoulder... clostraphobic... GOODNESS! (That is just part of the whole experience)! After all...it just wouldn't be as exciting if it was dead in there, right?!? YOU GUYS ARE STILL DOING THE DANG THING! 5...
Read moreWe absolutely love Clown Cone. I grew up visiting on a regular basis as I lived in the neighborhood. I now live on the other side of town and still make the drive to bring my younger children as well as grandchildren to enjoy the Clown Cone experience. My kids love it here they still have individual pieces of candy like the old penny candy days. ( 5, 10 , 15 cents each) The variety of hand dipped ice cream is a hidden treasure. The food as usual was amazing !! The clown dolls/ puppets etc. are fun to look at & they always have rare nick nacks & trinkets you would not find at your typical store. They also have excellent customer service. This is a place everyone in the family will enjoy. We had three generations with our last visit and everyone found something they liked. Lastly the prices are terrific!! We had 8 people some had food & milkshakes other double scoop cones and only...
