Spiros — Restaurant in Columbus

If it was possible I would give 0 stars after my experience yesterday evening. We walked in to eat a quick dinner. It was my husband my 3 year old son and me. Everyone was really nice until the older lady (Caucasian, heavy set, dark hair, wearing a white top) put her hands all over my son telling him to wait a minute because someone was walking by us. He wasn't even in the way he just wanted to take his seat and she should have never put her hands on him. I decided to let that go so we sat down to order. The waitress was so nice and another lady said she remembered seeing us for breakfast and welcomed us back. The waitress got our drink orders and asked if our son would like to have a coloring book and crayons and brought them over. The lady in the white kept hovering and asked if we needed a high chair. I told her no since he's 3 and a tall kid he usually just sits in the booth with us. She said she had one request which was not to let him color on the wall. She said other kids had before. I told her he wouldn't and that we were watching him. She continued hovering and saying things and my son was coloring and sitting on his bottom the whole time. I told her that if kids are not welcome they should have told us that and we got up to leave. She loudly walked around telling the other staff what happened. We will never come back here even though it was my family's favorite restaurant growing up. That lady needs fired or counseled on how to treat people. ...

Actually I give no stars but the only way I could list my experience was giving one. So my fiance stop there to get dinner for my five-year-old and me in the van was overheating so he asked the gentleman for some water and he was going to place an order Well the lady manager start screaming at my boyfriend and cursing at him and calling him dirty and come and threatening him. My boyfriend works on cars and sells cars for a living so he might have not been as presentable as he normally is but he was busy all day and was just going to stop and pick us up some food. The lady called him a piece of s*, a dirty scum blah blah ect. I would never ever ever go to a place that would treat someone so disrespectfully. Little does this lady know we are not poor. They are prejudice, racist, and rudest people I have ever met. Please don't waste your time with this place and I hear the food isn't good anyway. All I can say is God bless that woman. Left me in tears and I have never been treated so bad and neither has my boyfriend. Don't spend your money with these people they're way better restaurants then this place. We are calling the Better Business Bureau and 6 on your side please do not waste your time going to this place this lady is the most disrespectful person I have ever...

Kay and Ray were very sweet and took good care of our group. The food was good, but I cannot imagine going back. The owner was so rude. She was upset because some in our party got there a little early. There were plenty of tables, but apparently 15 minutes early is a hassle. In addition, she spoke rudely to my elderly father because he used the men's bathroom. There was a painter in the hall and she didn't want anyone back there. Well, put up a sign, but don't snap at my 85 year-old dad. I wish he would have told me before we left the restaurant, but he was too embarrassed. So, if she is rude to you just take comfort in the fact that she doesn't like people of any color or age. It is a universal nastiness. So sad for...
