Read moreThis was the highest-rated establishment of any kind in the area I was in so I had to stop by. I have been to several coffee shops that are drive-through only, and due to this place's small size and parking lot, I mistakenly thought it was drive-through only. The outside of the building is covered in artwork, so this drive-through wasn’t as dull as they usually are. There is no ordering speaker box or menu before the window, so you have to frantically decide your order at the window, where the menu is posted. When I pulled up, they immediately opened the window so I didn’t get to see the writing on it to ask about their homemade scones. The person who helped me was very nice and had radiating energy that you could tell she loved her job. I ordered an iced rose latte, and it was fine. It tastes like a standard iced latte with pumps of syrup, with a very faint flavor. I probably would have had a better experience if I had gone inside and got to think about the menu and browse the pastries. I would support this business based on the employees but I wouldn’t go out of my way for the lattes. I wouldn’t avoid it either if it was...
Read moreA friend of mine moved to this area and recommended we stopped here for some tea/coffee. The cafe is warm, homey, and chill. The mega alien painting really sets the mood. 😂👽 There is a board game area in the back with a table and some chairs for people to use and different seating options up front with lots of live plants and big windows to look out. The menu is super simple and I appreciate that they offer dairy-free milk options. 🥛 I ordered a hot earl grey and my friend ordered an iced coffee (can't remember which kind) and we ordered an apple cinnamon poptart pastry to share. 😋 The prices were reasonable and tea and pastry were good.
My critiques are the batistas/workers were kinda standoff-ish and not very welcoming. I dunno, I just got a weird vibe. Secondly, I wish there were more snack options. I'm not familiar with this place so they may be new but hopefully more options are offered in the upcoming weeks! I'm sure I'll return here with my friend...
