Wong's Golden Wok — Restaurant in Columbus

I've been eating here for about twenty years. The service is fantastic - the owners are a husband and wife team, and they operate on traditional Asian views of honor and respect. The wife runs the front, and if you treat her with respect, she will be gracious and kind to you. If you treat her like she's stupid (which a lot of people do, because her English isn't the best), then she will still be respectful, but not as respectful as she would be if you treated her well. Her memory is incredible. She NEVER screws an order up, and once you've ordered the same thing 2-3 times in a row, she will remember it. (She also remembers those who treat her badly/without respect, so mind your manners and act like you had an upbringing!)

Her husband runs the kitchen, and he is an excellent cook. I've had pretty much everything on the menu and while there's a few items I'm not particularly fond of, he cooks them so well that my dislike of them is often cast aside. The spicy chicken and pork lo mein are, by far, my favorites.

Order Shrimp & Broccoli + Yon ton Soup

ALL The MAJOR Mistakes Made: 1.) No Quality It usually takes minimum 10 minutes to make a fresh batch of food. She literally handed my slopped up food in 1 minute. This means that the food is already pre-made and then just warmed up. For all I know, this batch could have been made 2 hours ago. Unacceptable. 2.) No Quality I was expecting a quart sized portion (white container) and instead I get a Styrofoam half full of food mixed with the grimy sauce and rice. You never mix the rice and assume my concentration of the sauce! It looked like slop! 3.) Missing Ingredients Yon ton Soup bad no beef meat inside the droppings! WTF! 4.) Older lady who gave me the order (had horrible attitude and barely spoke English) ! Un-acceptable! Poor customer Service!

This place has some of the most friendly, patient and happy people working there! Wether it's ordering over the phone or in person they are always so helpful and never rush you along... I have a hard time going to certain places still because of how rude and impatient the employees are. So along with Wongs having some damn good food (General Tso's - egg drop & won ton soups - plain & beef Lo Mein - garlic sauce and crab Rangoon...only thing I myself have ordered andbgot to try) but the good food, friendly, clean and welcoming atmosphere coupled with a great group of employees is enough to keep me coming and getting our business that's for sure!! Plus it's quick, correct and hot when we order over the phone and go pick it up. I highly...
