This location has been a disappointment the last three times that I have visited. Today I ordered through the app an hour and a half before the restaurant closes, but when I tried to walk in the door to pick up my food 20 minutes after ordering, the doors were locked and the lights in the lobby were off. I pulled around to the drive-through window, I told the person that I was trying to pick up food I ordered online and asked if they were closing at nine instead of 10 PM. She walked away, not even engaging my question, and then three different individuals walking past the window, I asked the same question with everyone ignoring me like they couldn’t hear me. I asked if they were closing now at 9 PM because the doors were locked. Each of the individuals acted clueless like they didn’t know what I was asking, so finally I asked if she couldn’t hear me or was just choosing not to answer. She just stared blankly back at me and then asked me to pay for my order which I had already paid through the app. Then I had to wait for them to make my food. It’s a bunch of teenagers working and they’re locking the door I assume to deter customers from coming in. That’s just bad business as I watched several individuals drive up try to go inside and then leave while I was waiting. I assume they believed the store was already closed. I’m not sure how long they left the door closed that evening, but with three people working at the front counter and no idea how many cooks are in the back, only to run a drive-through is horrible overage of manpower and loses the company’s bottomline profit. UPDATE: I ordered this to go, which means I would be in my vehicle, but after I drove away, sitting at a stop sign, I realized there were no napkins, no silverware, and no ranch dressing. Then I open the food container and instantly see something that looked like a piece of ground beef with a white streak on it sitting on top of the boneless chicken wings. I didn’t know what it was and since I had no napkins or silverware, decided to take a bite of the toast instead. It was rancid. At that point, I was scared to eat anything in the container so that was put in the trash when I got home. The only thing I had for dinner this evening was frozen lemonade. I definitely will not return to the Schomburg Road restaurant unless at some point, they have adult supervision with a manager on site and supervising.

Ordered a kids meal and a chicken bacon ranch quesadilla online. Picked it up through the drive through and checked the bag before leaving. Had to ask for the kids milk, THEN got all the way home to find the kids meal was missing the chicken tenders. It was just a box of fries AND the quesadilla didn’t have bacon at all. Tried calling 4 times to let them know, no one ever answered the phone. So we drove back and I went in… They TOOK THE FOOD BACK OVER THE COUNTER, stuffed two chicken strips in the box of fries and asked if I wanted bacon added to the quesadilla. I said I would like a fresh one please. They said “we’re out of cheese.” Pathetic service, very disappointing food. Not ordering from here again.

I went through the drive thru to get a simple kids meal, which just consists of one nibbler and fries, only to come home to find two slices of bread with no chicken in it and a bunch of fries. You don't ask for much in life, but a restaurant that specializes in chicken ought to know to put chicken in a chicken sandwich.

I ordered online using the zaxby’s app and my order was to be ready at 7:03 pm; after waiting 15 minutes beyond 7:03 pm and seeing 2 customers come in, place an order for dine in and get their food before me which mine was already paid for, I requested to get a refund and speak to the manager; the young man taking orders informed me “He was the manager”, which I knew wasn’t true because he didn’t know how to refund my money! He lied because he had to call another gentleman from the back who explained to him how to do the refund. This same cashier looked at me as I sat in front of “the online to go orders” area after he took the 2nd customer to walk in order and now there is NO ONE IN LINE, and when I said I’m here for an online order, he turned away quickly, went and said something to another co-worker, and they glanced my way and started laughing! Totally unprofessional and down right disrespectful; my food was paid for already and it was already 15 minutes pass the pick time; then when I asked for the manager and he , the cashier said he was the manager, I asked him for his boss name and a number to contact them; he said his boss was Taylor Mead and she would not be back until next Monday, September 5th, and I would have to contact her at the store number then. I expressed to him my disappointment in the entire customer service experience I just had; after I got my refund, I went to Chick-fil-A drive through where I was served promptly within 5 minutes of placing my order! It will be sometime before I visit Zaxby’s again, and my family frequent Zaxby’s at least 2-3 times a week; will now go to Chick-fil-A instead. Of course Zaxby’s has good food; Chick-fil-A has great food; so if the management of this restaurant don’t address the issues with online “paid orders” being filled and ready when stated, it won’t surprise me if that part of the business severely declined as the online order that has been paid for should be a priority for the...

This Zaxby's has got to be the most unprofessional, get it wrong everytime location in this city. We placed an online order tonight and of course they close their inside early, so you have to sit in a super long line to get it. My husband went to get the food, got to the window after waiting an eternity and they have nothing ready although our food was sitting there. He gets home and our son's food is missing. We call and they tell us we have to wait in the long line again. My husband nicely asked if they can just remake his food since he had to leave, go back up there, wait in a long line and it would be cold by the time he got home. He's not going to eat in our sons face and then leave. Although we were going to give the food back uneaten they told him no. That they can't or won't remake his food. Seriously? This is YOUR mess up which they're notoriously known for there and you can't simply remake one plate or give him fresh fries? Give me a break. It's the only thing we asked and with no apology given. I'm calling corporate. This has been their last...
