There’s an old guy who works bye the register I think it’s the fryer and salad end I believe his name is Daniel or Dave but I know when he works out fry’s are hot and crisp and I notice our fingers pitas are hot other cooks put luke warm fry’s if not cold out . I always hear him say there hot come get them he’s right when he says it . He also must make sure the oil is changed on a regular basis because it shows in the fried foods. Other places tasted like old used oil. We drive from white lk just to go there because of him. And his salads are nice and fresh . Hats off to the older man he’s is there all hours of the day during the week and he’s always moving. If you ever see him there rest assured your going to get great tenders and fish. Plus my husband loves fried clams and he says that gentleman knows what he’s doing. He doesn’t overcook them but cooks them perfectly light the way they’re supposed to be so once get hats off to Daniel or Dave whatever his name is the older guy and he always seems friendly with the waitstaff. He seems to actually care I hope the management appreciates him as much as we do. The Kelly family thanks that gentleman. There’s a few waitress that we really enjoy one of them is joli and Michelle and couple more. If something isn’t up to standard they make sure it gets taken care of. The owner seems like a nice guy. But we would like to see him on the floor more so we could give him the praise that we have for these staff members. But he’s usually in the kitchen and it’s a good thing he puts out some amazing food and if something isn’t right just mention it to him and he will make sure your recommendations are heard. Also to the Sweet young lady I think her name is Nagham runs the register. She is also so pleasant and really cares you can tell. Out of the 3 Leo’s around us this one is far the best. I realized that if you don’t tell people there’s an issue they can’t fix it. It’s not about what you say but how you say it. This industry has been hit hard with lack of help. I believe they are doing better than most and it’s the few good staff that has really stepped up. So I found they even have off moments but they are willing to make things right. Great job...
Read moreI'm extremely upset with the owner because we were frequent daily customers and when I say daily I mean daily, it's hard to get a big sized high quality meal nowadays, my kids always use to order 2 buffalo chicken sandwiches daily, no cheese, and we also use to order 5 western omelettes. But the owner decided to get rid of the young, extremely handsome looking male, he was the one with that really nice beard, best way to describe him since we never thought we would have to ask his name, anywhom, I don't care what time of the day it was when we would go into Leo's that grill was so shiny clean I could use it as a mirror, now there's an older male there really small in height, my entire family and I are traumatized from ever ordering from there again while hes working, my sisters, my brothers, my aunts and uncles all had very bad experiences when he is there our pitas are always old and cold and its disgusting ordering a chicken salad and having old cold burnt chicken, but as of the last couple weeks we have seen that young man only work for a couple hours before they close up so we literally save our appetite until around 7pm hes always there at that time, so all my relatives and friend are forced to order at that time, and considering me and 50 other family members share this experience im almost positive others do also and i believe this comment will produce good feedback to the owner after he sees why my oversized family stopped...
Read moreI ordered a coffee and an English Muffin. After ordering the English Muffin I got a rather terse question, 'Is that all you want?' My breakfast companion ordered a shrimp basket. When the food arrived my breakfast companion had a small pile of 60 count shrimp covered in Panko. They looked like they had been taken out of a frozen bag. The fries served with them were luke warm and there was only a half a portion. My English Muffin was 20 percent carbon. I happen to like it like that sometimes - if I make it at home, but getting it in a restaurant was an insult. The napkin dispenser was dusty. The table had not been properly cleaned. When departing I requested a cola to go. Having been ignored at the table as we prepared to leave I went to the register. Another waitress brought the cola. The two waitresses seemed under stress with each other.
It was altogether an unpleasant experience. My breakfast companion has now sworn off diners (Coney Islands they are called around here - weird).
I'll never go to another Leo's.
When entering, by the way, I noticed a sign stating, 'We do not take ANY Leo's discount coupons at...
