This is my place!! The food is delish with a serving of great customer service which is so absent in many public places now. My husband and I visit regularly and are made to feel like Family as soon as we walk in the door when we are greeted with a friendly "hi guys!" from the staff behind the counter. A greeting is standard for all who enter. I usually get the white meat chicken Pita Way bowl.. I am kinda addicted to them and have had them from other places but the Pita Way one reigns supreme. You can also get lamb or chicken shwarma (dark) meat. They price out at a little over $13 if you don't add double meat, but if you add enough ingredients (Subway style) it is well worth the price. I usually have enough left over for a nice snack the next day. We have tried different things in our bowls at the suggestions of the wonderful Pierre❤️ who even wears a cute little hairnet on his beard!.. and his great staff! Eli introduced me to pickled cabbage and Sumac spice and I now include them both in my custom bowl. Pierre invented the "Fire Fries" that my son gets whenever he visits along with his bowl. They are only a little spicy but oh so good! There are many other items on the menu and they also have some great catering/large group packages. They also have a phone number related rewards program where you can earn free food and drink and the place is always clean and has a dining area if you want to eat in. A must visit if you get out...
Read moreThis was my go-to med restaurant in the area for the past several years. However, after a recent visit I'm very disappointed and don't know if I'll return. I might be going back to Aanam's Palatte. The prices are up which isn't surprising. However, they now charge extra for what seems like everything. First it was almonds and raisins. Now it's garlic sauce and seems to be everything else. I asked for more pickles/veggies, but was ignored and it was explained to me how 'prices are up.'
These guys used to pack my bowl so I could barely open it, with as many veggies as I wanted. Now they try to get by cheap - HALF the bowl is RICE! It was rudely explained to me that "garlic sauce is expensive and costs the owner." for asking about the change. NO TIP FOR YOU, SIR! I didn't catch his name but I ran into him on Thursday 10/30 @ 2pm, short red hair. He spoke as if he was a manager. People like him will keep me from returning, and should never expect a tip. When I spoke up and questioned the additional cost, another customer made mention of the recent additional upcharges for things like garlic sauce.
If I pay $22 for a bowl of food (double chicken), I expect to get as many veggies as I like. Next time I'll just go to a sit-down restaurant and eat...
Read moreThese men made my night. I was the most awful person ever and walked in right at closing time😭. They asked me what my order was and I felt horrible asking if they could make the crispy chicken or fries ( that had already shut off the heat to the oil pan. I felt TERRIBLE. I changed my mind and said no chicken because that was too much of a hassle in my brain and I know the feeling of customers coming in right at closing. They insisted and said it was no big deal! They just had to turn the heat back on and it would be a bit of a wait but I still felt horrible I just got the fries and he asked me if I wanted to upgrade them to fire fries!! I said yes please omg💁♀️and I gave them a good tip for the inconveniences I gave them. I appreciate them with my whole heart and I enjoyed those bussin fire fries while watching South Park🤭LOVE YOU PITA WAY and all of the commerce employees. EAT. SLEEP....
