My recommendation is that unless you like long waits for “fast” food, eating old and/or cold meals that have sat under warmers for hours on end, and being served by rude employees who all seem to lack the basic ability to put the correct food in the bags, you should steer clear of this location. On our way home from a school event for my kids I decided to stop at about 8:00 at night for a couple of cheeseburgers since I didn’t have time to eat after work. McDonald’s is literally the only food I wouldn’t have had to go out of my way for and since there was no line and I was in a hurry to get my kids home McD’s was the best I was going to do for food. There was only one car ahead of us in the drive thru and yet we waited 15 minutes after I paid for that car to get its food and drive away. It took at least another 10 minutes after that to get my food from the worker who just opened the window and shoved the bag at me and then immediately started to walk away. Since the wait was so long I told my kids that I would get them water when I got my food. I admit, I didn’t order the waters with my food because we were only 5 minutes from home and I figured they could wait. I’m sorry I asked. The girl’s response? A huge eye roll and big attitude. She snapped angrily, “next time order it with the rest of your food. We’re going to get backed up now”. Yeah, I’m sure that my two small waters, which you don’t have to move to pour, are the reason you’re getting backed up. It couldn’t be the 20 minute wait the ONE car in front of me had before they got their food. This location is consistent in their ability to get every order wrong (or to serve it old and cold) as well as in their knack for hiring extremely rude and unhelpful employees. Not to mention, as evidenced yet again tonight, they seem to care so little about their customers that the wait times, even during non peak hours are mind blowingly slow. There won’t be a next time for us at this location as it would still be a faster and a more pleasant experience to drive 15 miles out of our way to just about any other food place than the McDonalds on 104th and Hwy. 85. The one star I was forced to give so I could post a review was generous. If there was a way to give this location zero stars I would still think it...
Read moreMcDonald's has gone so far downhill since the 70's they have hit bottom. We stopped on a road trip out out of necessity. It was a coin flip between Taco Bell and McD, as nothing else was around, and we had to make a quick stop. What a colossal error that turned out to be. We stood under the register with the "ORDER HERE" placard for 5 minutes before being told, "Please use the kiosk " We said,"We will wait for you to take our order, please." The Junior Executive Fry Boy said, "Well, it will be a while!" "OK, thank you." we replied. Junior proceeded to push various buttons like an automatron working in a widget factory on an episode of the Jetsons. He placed cups of various sizes into red holders on a conveyor belt, pushed loud buttons to tell his boss what type, size, and sweetness level of soda to dispense, staring contently at the motherboard display. He periodically moved to a different task station when its screams called toward him, requiring a button to be caressed, alerting Junior to extract a potato mixture from a hot lipid formula encased within a wire matrix. Nothing could tear him from these technical overlords, and when we wondered if we would ever find our meal and where, as numbers were being randomly called and others were gathering their food, it appeared. We then attempted human contact once again with Junior, and it angered him, since it broke his tech-bond. He did respond, stating our food was...there....while pointing to a shelf. He sat it in a mobile order area though we were clearly humans who ordered directly from him (to his disdain), and who had been sitting one table from him the whole time. Very interesting. Was this retaliation for his being forced to interact with said humans for 50 seconds to take an order? Was it incompetence? You decide. There is much, much more to add, since I ordered a McFlurry, but that story is twice as long, and I fear, gentle reader, you have most certainly either passed away or fallen asleep by...
Read moreI went to this location yesterday with a group of 6 friends and waited 20 minutes without an employee greeting us. We ended up leaving without food because we didn’t know when we were going to get our order taken and we had a reservation in 45 minutes. We went back to the location today because it’s close to our AirBnb. Half of our party was able to order breakfast and the other half’s order was frozen on the kiosk. We pressed the button to get someone to help fix the kiosk, waited 10 minutes and they told us they would take our order at the register. We waited another 5 minutes for other people to order their breakfast and at that point we were told they wouldn’t take our breakfast order, and they said it was lunch time. We asked him to get a manager to see if they could fix it and Ruby (wearing a pink shirt) said “no we couldn’t” at that point we were irritated. Had they been actively taking our orders we wouldn’t have had an issue. Yesterday they were avoiding taking our order and acting busy so that they can avoid having to heat up any more breakfast sandwiches. THANKFULLY there was a better manager on duty who was able to help us get our breakfast but the negative attitude of Ruby and the cashier ruined our breakfast experience. Also the cashier was more worried about giving Ruby her phone charger than he was taking my order and that could have waited until after my order was taken. I felt no sense of being welcome here. The employees were not concerned about the customers just trying to get a pay check. Also as I type this my friend is pouring his coffee into the sink because it doesn’t taste right. One last thing, as we were leaving an employee intentionally misgendered my friend by calling him “mam”. That was extremely unprofessional and as a member of the LGBTQ community I think that needs to be a discussion in your store to prevent further disrespect...
