OH MY STARS!! Was this ever a diamond in the rough! I must have passed by here a zillion times and not noticed an amazing restaurant humbledly tucked on Washington, just west of Eastern. My good friend and her family live around the bend and they hadn't heard or seen this place either. We are always looking for good places to try and it took me fumbling on yelp to come across it and I did a double take because I couldn't believe this was coming up as a opened restaurant, patio/outdoor seating, and the pictures and reviews had me intrigued. I sent the page info to my friend and she was in shock. I called on a Saturday but was discouraged not getting through. I tried the next day and voila! Confirmed so we made plans to try it and if we didn't feel the vibe we had plan b in mind. 💣 😍 No plan b needed! We were in love from just pulling into the parking lot. We loved the outdoor setup, the soothing music and the food being carried out matching pictures we had seen. With our masks on we LOVED the measures the staff took for following COVID-19 regulations. The staff was overwhelmingly charming, going above and beyond to make you/us welcome. The temporary, condensed menu was amped with absolutely everything sounding so great ... the prices had us fo a double-take because it was such a breath of fresh air to not see menu prices actually were unbelievably affordable. We each had felt like having some vino with whatever we ordered and oh my goodness were we treated like royalty sampling until we found what was suitable and they were all delicious. The staff so accommodating, brought out the infamous garlic bread I had read about in reviews - O. M. G. 😍. We've all had garlic bread at some point but this was beyond delicious. I didn't even have to ask for balsamic vinegar and olive oil - they brought it out 😊. Between 3 of us we ordered Fettucini Ai Funghi Porcini Con Capesante Gamberi, Linguini Alle Vongole, and Fettucini Alfredo with spinach and chicken -- oh my goodness!!! Fresh, ample, savory, incredible. We split a tiramisu that was absolutely divine! We were all in love 😍 🥰 💘 🍝🦪🦐🍄🍞🧄🍰🍷. Simply bliss! Congratulations to the owner and staff for this gem of a restaurant. To know this menu is the temporary condensed version of their full menu, I am speechless. Everyone around us ordered different dishes and we were star- struck 🤩. Clean, quaint, absolutely a winner. Will we be back? Uhh yeah! (Originally reviewed in June of 2020)

This place is definitely a hidden jem! A family member of mine lives a few block from here ... She was craving Italian and was telling me how delicious the calamari was along with the pasta she had gotten the last time she was there... Let me tell you, they don't have a long time open so the wait for a table was not even 2 minutes. They bring in some bread with garlic that was nice and warm!!! Most importantly it was fresh and delicious. Three of us got the Fetuccini Alfredo and I have not had Fetuccini that was that delicious. You can tell that it is made fresh and it just overall had a homemade taste. I loved my pasta! 2 of my other family members got another type of pasta and another one a chicken parmesan. They both loved their food. On top of that, I didn't want to get too full.. since I wanted to try their tiramisu. That being my favorite desert. And let me tell you, it was great. I like the one from Porto's, yet that one is a bit more on the sweeter side... This one I loved more than the one in Porto's. You could taste the but of liquor in the bread... It was simply delicious. These guys are a lot better than olive garden. You will not regret eating here if you want better tasting food.

Nestled in an unassuming corner of Commerce, a true culinary "hidden gem" awaits: an Italian restaurant that promises and delivers an authentically delightful dining experience. From the moment you step inside, the inviting aroma hints at the exquisite journey ahead. Their commitment to tradition shines through in every dish, particularly with their impeccably thin-crust pizzas, perfectly crisp and topped with fresh, high-quality ingredients. A standout feature is undoubtedly their pasta; the fact that the noodles are made in-house elevates every forkful, offering a texture and richness that mass-produced alternatives simply cannot match. Be sure to save room for dessert – it's utterly delicious and comes strongly recommended as the perfect sweet culmination to an unforgettable meal. This place isn't just a restaurant; it's a passionate ode to Italian cuisine, and a must-visit for anyone seeking genuine flavors in Commerce. Happy hour ALL day… EVERY day! The peach mimosas are our favorite! Service is friendly and efficient. Get ready to be served by the cutest CAT ever employed in a restaurant. That’s right … not a typo… you will be served by a cat !

Came here on a Monday Aug 12 with my friend Mary who was in the mood for lasagna and I can always enjoy some Italian food. Lived in Italy for almost 2 years and am constantly looking for a place with decent Italian food but have been usually disappointed. Boy, did we get lucky! She ordered the Lasagna Bolognese($13.50) and I got the Insalata Di Bistecca Arugula($14.00). Her dish was as good a version as I've seen in a long time with perfectly balanced sauce and tender noodles. Delish! My salad had perfectly cooked medium rare rib eye slices on a bed of arugula with tomatoes, blue cheese crumbles, red onions, tossed with a balsamic vinaigrette dressing. So good I finished every bite. The garlic bread they serve has the perfect blend of garlic, spices, olive oil, etc. Good crunch but not dry. When I spoke with the manager/owner? she said that the chefs have over 20 years experience each cooking at well known French & Italian restaurants. It shows! Took a photo of their specials sign in front and sent it to my buddy John who then came in after 4PM(when Happy Hour starts!) and they had lamb 2 different ways. They both thought it was one of the best they've had! I even came back the next day to take my sister to lunch. This restaurant is on a stretch on Washington Blvd. that is mostly business and commercial and you would not expect such a quality Italian restaurant here. Plenty of parking, too. Will...
