Rosewood Park — Attraction in Commerce

I have been coming to Rosewood for 20 years. It has changed dramatically within that period of time. The grass is always very nicely cut and their are many places to play diverse sports. They have swing sets and monkey bars for the kids, basketball courts for the adults. A big baseball field and big grass areas to put up volley ball or play football or soccer. So why didn't I give it a 5 star? Because they have a sign that says you can't play soccer..what?? I love soccer. The staff says its because it damages the grass. They'll even call the cops to shut down and threaten to confiscate your soccer equipment if you don't comply. C'mon guys, really? People are allowed to play football and baseball (sports wear people use cleats) and we're not allowed to play soccer even with regular tennis shoes on? Who made that rule? Remove it please. You want a donation box or something? Lets figure something out. The park staff says we can apply for a permit (ah ha, so they do allow soccer, but only if you pay..annnnnd, if you're in a league) but if you're just a group of friends and not a league then you cannot get the permit. I love Rosewood and my friends really love Rosewood. Please allow us to play soccer here...

This park is overall a good place to hang out. The pool is worth going to! The lifeguards there are really cautious and make sure everyone is safe. HOWEVER, THE LADIES IN THE SNACK BAR SHOULD BE FIRED! THEY WERE EXTREMELY RUDE! FIRST OF ALL, THEY TOOK WAY TOO LONG FOR A REASONABLY SMALL ORDER! I WAS WAITING NEAR THE WINDOW PATIENTLY, WHEN ONE LADY WORKING THERE YELLED AT ME TO MOVE OUT OF THE WAY IN A RUDE TONE!!! ONCE MY ORDER WAS READY, ONE OF THE LADIES RUDELY CALLED OUT MY ORDER! I WENT TO TURN IN MY TICKET TO HER, AND SHE GRABBED MY TICKET IN THE RUDEST MANNER I'VE SEEN! I'm not sure if these ladies eve have the social skills to work here, but I hope they are all fired as soon as possible. I am VERY UPSET ABOUT MY SNACK...

The place is beautiful and the location is good. Service is not so good especially the restaurant side. Most of the waiters behave like robots who are afraid of the boss. Very tight and not friendly or personal. Upon arrival there was no bellboy..waited 5 minutes and when cars and taxis qued up behind me I had to go and look for someone. And they charge for valet and for parking! Robbery. Concierge knew nearly nothing about answers to my questions...very strange indeed. On checkout I went down 30 minutes before to give my car ticket and asked them to bring the car. When I paid and went outside 30 minutes later the car was nowhere. They forgot. Had to wait another 10 minutes. An unfriendly but...
