My visit was this morning between 830am/ 9a. Closer to 9am.
I have been going to Lee's near my job for a few years now. The staff has rotated a little bit, but it has always been decent to good customer service, UNTIL TODAY. There was two ladies, I don't believe I've ever seen on past visits working. The two ladies were rude & unprofessional. I stood at the register smiled a patiently waited to be greeted. I finally had to say something to be acknowledged even though I was standing directly in front of the younger of the two & very close to the older lady as well. I guess they were just refusing to acknowledged me lol. There was a gentleman already served ahead of me that the cook was having a long pleasant/ laughing conversation with. A young man came in after me & was pleasantly greeted immediately & was quickly giving his order (only a drink). The young lady walked back futher behind the counter and joined in on the convo with the cook/ customer while simultaneously leaning a little on the counter and texting. Keep in mind the cook is still not preparing my food.đ¤Śđźââď¸ In walks another customer who was immediately pleasantly greeted lol! Finally I had to go and sit in direct view of the cook, so I could see her and the food prep area and she could see me. Shortly after she stopped conversing with the customer and started to prepare my food. When I tell you she was throwing my food around (lightly) lol. When it was finished she just let it sit there for a minute lol. She finally bagged it up sat it on the counter & slapped on the napkin holder to signal for me to get my own napkins. They really seemed to hate that I came in. I'm not sure why but it was really clear they didn't want to serve me, I'm positive about that. It really made me feel sad. And Oh yeah, the other customers and the two young ladies all appear to be of the same race/ color/ ethnicity, I'm not. You do the math....
Read moreIf I'm ever craving some quick food, then Lee's Sandwiches does the job. They have both Asian and European style sandwiches. The place is clean and the parking lot is small. The parking lot gets packed during lunch hour so finding parking can be hectic because there's other food places nearby. The customer service is not the greatest because they don't greet you, but they take orders quickly.
I ordered a turkey club sandwich on baguette bread. Don't be in a rush because they take a long time to get your order ready. I had to wait 20 minutes for my order, but it was good they apologized for the long wait. The sandwich comes with turkey, tomato, lettuce, American cheese, and bacon. It has pickles, pepperoncini, and purple onions on the side. The sandwich is good, and the bread is nicely baked and toasty. I wish you could place the order online for quicker pick-up, so you don't have to wait to...
Read moreI have never been to this location before, I usually go to the Alhambra location. I arrived and was immediately greeted by a very ghetto staff member with âYesâ. I ignored the attitude and asked for a coffee and a sandwich. Staff immediately made my drink, and I shouldâve tasted it right away, but I didnât think to. My sandwich took about 15 minutes so I patiently waited. Staff then told me my order was ready but she forgot the extra add ins I paid for. She threw them in the bag and went back to the register. I then was walking out and noticed the âCâ rating this location has. I was so grossed out I wanted to ask for a refund but I just let it go. I tasted the drink and it was basically all sugar, it immediately gave me a headache. $14 in the trash. I donât know how a restaurant is still allowed to operate with...
