Truly a disappointing dinner for my family. We ordered delivery because we had been sick and this sounded great instead of having to cook and clean up. The usually amazing honey barbecue chicken supermelt was flat, misshapen, thrown together carelessly, and barely even wrapped. All the food was cold, but I can look past that because it was a busy night for deliveries and we did have a long wait. The All American Burger, on the other hand, was undercooked, like red on the inside, and my teenage son who can eat just about anything, couldn’t even eat this. He said it was nasty, tasted weird, and was “by far the worst hamburger he’d ever eaten.” I understand that some people prefer their burgers this way, but we weren’t asked how we wanted it cooked, and this is never what we get when we order a burger. If we had been asked, we would have requested well done. This clearly isn’t. There to go bags were just so carelessly packed, heavy things on top of sandwiches, wrappers half off. It made no sense. I get that restaurants and the workforce in general is suffering right now, but this is just not okay. I’m hearing all over town how bad service has gotten at this Friendly’s lately. It wasn’t just a bad night. There’s a problem here.

This was my first time inside a Friendly's restaurant. Their welcome sign made me smile, and take a picture of it :) I am glad I did have ice cream at the end - probably the first time I have been served an icecream cone on a silver dish! It seemed like most of the menu was made up of new items. My group discussed the perils of trying something new, but I decided I just had to try the cheese skirt burger! When I told our server that was what I wanted, she said "There is a lot in that burger, are you sure you like everything in it?" I had looked at the list, but was glad she asked, I told her I liked everything but the thousand island dressing and she said they would remove that. As a cheese lover, this burger was everything I hoped it would be based on the picture in the menu. And I would recommend it - but be sure to check if there are any toppings you want to have removed. Oh, and if you love pickles, like me, ask for extra. The burger came out with only one medium sized pickle slice on the burger and I wished I had more. For my icecream cone I got a single scoop of butter crunch. It seemed more like a double scoop to me so I am glad I went with the smaller size!

I asked if they had any vinegar and still the same answer. I didn't ask, but I'm fairly certain that they offered oil and vinegar as salad dressing, which would be acceptable. Note that this chain was founded in New England, where malt vinegar is routinely served with the dish. So I ordered grilled cheese and a cup of tomato soup. My wife ordered a burger. The soup came in a tiny bowl and was cloyingly sweet, the taste reminiscent of spaghetti-o's without the Os. The grilled cheese was fair, but didn't appear to be actually grilled. It was more like melted American cheese on toast. The burger was unremarkable, but not bad in any way. Our server was attentive and pleasant. The price wasn't too high considering the recent economy.

If I could give zero stars I would. The way our visit went was absolutely astonishing. We were not welcomed or acknowledged when we walked into the place, once we got seated the server said nothing and slammed the menus on the table and walked away. Came back asked for drinks only took drink orders for 3 out of the 5 of us as my step mom was asking my son what he wanted because they wouldn’t make him a pancake even though we got there at 11 I get breakfast stopped but come on one pancake. We were given our drinks and the waitress walked away and didn’t even take the drink orders for the 2 she ignored in the first place my father said she needed to take drink orders for the other 2 and with a nasty sarcastic voice she was like I’m sorry sir I didn’t realize you were ready and we explained how there were 2 people who got ignored and got no drinks, we asked for the check for the drinks we did get and wanted to leave the waitrsss told us we weee set and proceeded to run her mouth to us as she walked to the kitchen. Mind you the couple that got seated after us left before we even did as she didn’t even acknowledge them period. This was on Sunday November 3rd 11. This waitress was heavy set with glasses and was working morning shift. This place has gone so far down hill it’s sad. No one should be treated the way we were. We went to the 99 and got treated with the up most respect and constant apologies for the slow responses due to being busy. I don’t see this place lasting long there’s a reason they are never busy or stay busy you can’t have rude staff. We will never return to this friendly so really hope the owner sees this and fires this waitress between my family and the couple that’s 7 people that up and left due to how the...

We stopped in for lunch and it took them 10 minutes just to seat us and there were only 2 other tables filling the restaurant. It took another 15 minutes to take our drink order and she didn’t let my daughter order a drink and just took off. Another 10 minutes for the drinks to arrive and she didn’t take our food order after dropping the drinks off l, she just left. Finally ordered lunch and it came out 30 minutes later. Soup was cold. No silverware for salad had to ask for it got attitude. After lunch we got ice cream tried to order my daughter the BYO ice cream sundae and she told me she wanted it as is, I explained she didn’t want it as is she wanted different things and she gave me attitude. I then ordered myself a banana split but with no pineapple sauce. She was already irritated with me and I was saying no pineapple sauce she walked away saying yeah yeah yeah. I was trying to tell her I have an allergy to pineapple but she didn’t seem to care. When we got our ice creams it didn’t look as though there was pineapple on the sundae but as I got to the bottom there was pineapple. Now I am having an allergic reaction (tongue itchy throat scratchy). We tried to get the manager to come talk to us. 30 minutes later (yes I have medicine that I took cause I knew what I had eaten) she came out all pissed off and yelling at us. Not sure this is a way to run a business but I will never go back knowing that the waitress (Amy) did not care about what she had done. She never apologized or even recognized that she did something wrong!!! Poor business...

I was so excited to find a Friendly’s establishment today but it quickly turned into a bad experience. First, once we finally got a server (there were only 3 other tables occupied at the time) we ordered our food and I ordered a coffee fribble. Again, I was very excited. When I got it, it didn’t look right and my fiancé noticed too. I tried it and it tasted more milky and thin rather than coffee and thick. I mentioned to our server , AMY M, what it was like and she rudely replied “it’s made with vanilla ice cream and coffee flavoring. Do you want coffee ice cream?” I said yes please and I’m sorry. She replied “if. You want coffee ice cream then you need to ask for it” and when I say she had an attitude, that’s an understatement. Then, as I’m waiting, I can hear her telling her trainer that this happens all the time and people need to know the difference. If that’s the case, then make it known. Or ask, would you like …. Or …. It was all down hill from there. She never checked on us and when she brought the new fribble I tried to say thank you again and I was sorry but she dropped it and left me speaking to the air. When the bill came, my fiancé looked it over and she gave him an attitude as well. I’ve never had such a rotten experience like this. And with such attitude from a server. I ended up leaving a small tip. I don’t like to do that but she’s honestly lucky I...
