Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Concord

My wife Mabel and I have been going to this location for dinner purt near 127 years. Its changed a ton in that time i'll tell ya. The first time we went it was called "Fruit Stand Hut". Just a cart, but the food was fresh. Then along the way its been "Country Kitchen Hut", "Chicken Hut", "Slaughter Your Own Pig Hut"... Then in the 60s it became " Peter, Paul, and Larry's Pub Hut". They served finger food, very tiny food, you had to order 5 meals to fill up. And finally. In the 70s, here comes this idea of selling puzza from a hut. We all thought it was crazy. No one is going to buy pizza from a hut. The first owner was this boxom woman by the name of Betty. She made pizza in the back of an old Chevy. Darndest thing we'd ever seen. Imaging a car that had an old Franklin Stove in the truck, pumpin' out round pies like the dickens! Course there was only one topping back then, Cream Corn. Until, one day, Betty had the idea of putting cheese and meat on top and the rest is history. A lots changed since. Betty retired, they replaced the chevy with a real pizza oven, the place became the staple of Loudon Rd. Mabel and I both died shortly after they pulled the chevy out but we hear its still doing...

I love pizza hut pizza... don't get me wrong, the pizza was great except the salad bar food was mostly dried out. It was obvious the celery, peppers, and cucumbers had signs of having been frozen! I was scared of the ham and also the eggs... The place needs serious renovation work it looks as though nothing has been done to the place since it opened! The metal handrails leading in are all rusted. You could definitely get hurt on it! The dingy odor smacks you in your face as soon as the door opens. The carpet didn't look or smell like it had ever been cleaned. My granddaughter climbed under the table, which made me afraid of what she might catch. The bathroom doors don't lock. One stall didn't have toilet paper, and the place is in desperate need of a face-lift! For the amount of money they charge, they could put something towards renovations. A paint job, tile, or linoleum instead of carpet in the dining area would help! I likely won't go back there because of...

YOU HAVE TO TRY THE HAND TOSSED GARLIC CHICKEN PIZZA! It's been many years since I've eaten anything from pizza hut. I've always loved pizza hut but the pizza started to be a little too heavy for my liking. Over the weekend I ended up having a few slices at my neighbors & NOW this is my new FAVORITE PIZZA. I'll be ordering this pizza 2-3 times a month now! Hand tossed garlic chicken pizza.....OMG so good! Next time I order I'm going to add broccoli to pizza as well. I also take a little lemon wedge & squirt some lemon on top of my pizza slice, I'M IN HEAVEN! Its like my favorite Bertucci's pizza except BETTER, its not brick oven & the crust is like a breadstick but not too thick or greasy. My soul & taste buds live for carbs but my body/pant size does not! I don't think anyone will be disappointed if you try this pizza & def try it with the lemon because lemon added to many...
