Best Mexican food I have ever had around here or possibly, ever! I will never go anywhere else for Mexican food again. Food are of high quality. I got to tried several meat choices on the menu, the ribs, Al pastor, and carnitas are all SO flavorful. BuChe meat (pork stomach) is one of my favorite meats offered here. It’s so tender, tasty, fresh and clean. Give it a try! Their Chicharron are the best I have ever had. Perfect crunch and seasoning. They also stayed crunchy the next day. I reheated them in my toaster and they were still perfect! I took their whole rotisserie chicken home and it was one of the best chicken I had in a while. The chicken was very well seasoned and marinated to perfection. It was flavorful in every bite and the meat was the way chicken was supposed to be. One of the best things I really appreciate about this place is their condiments and side dishes. I can tell that they were made fresh daily, in small batches. Because of that, their picked salad, Pico de gallo and Guacamole have never looked old and stale. (Unlike a lot of places that made them in large batches and they sit out and lost their freshness) The restaurant is extremely clean and well kept. Service is super fast and friendly. This is a hidden gem of Concord/Walnut Creek. I recommend the lamb if you want something you don't usually find. This my absolute favorite places to eat in the Walnut Creek valley.

Update 11/26/2024 I dropped by on my way North and had a delicious lamb brunch, you seriously can't go wrong with it. Highly recommend the salsa habanero aka their spicier red salsa, it's really good if you can take the heat.

Update 5/25/2024 I don't get to come here as often, but I made the journey up to update my review and it's still amazing. I had to order two plates of barbacoa de borrego because I forgot to take pictures of the first, and it was so good I had to have more anyways. It's a tortilleria, so you can also get tortillas, bulk meats, beans and salsas, you can also get masa in bulk. If you want some great Mexican food in Walnut Creek, look no further, it's here.

I started coming here about three weeks ago but have only ordered during lunchtime when the young man works. He always makes the food very delicious. The past week I ordered twice in the afternoon/evening time from 3pm-6pm, the first time I ordered a burrito a la diabla but I got a regular burrito. The second time I ordered today, I ordered a wet burrito of shrimp a la diabla… they put sauce that had been cooked with mussels/clams - it smelled so pungent. The lady tried to tell me that’s how the chipotle smelled and I couldn’t help but laugh because I grew up cooking with chipotle and it has NEVER smelled like mussels. I was just completely disgusted by the idea of them putting sauce that was cooked with clams on a shrimp burrito and her very lame excuse. Worst burrito I have had in my life. I now know to either come here in the morning or not come at all when the lady is working there. Horrible...
