I love stopping in at this taqueria (right off of Monument) when I want to grab a quick bite. Good tacos, great salsa, and really consistently friendly service. The tacos are my favorite thing here - they are inexpensive and you get a lot for your money! The marinated chicken is delicious! And their hot salsa is really spicy and full of flavor! Fresh ingredients and a clean restaurant - exactly what you want when you go out to eat!
Updated from 4/9/13: Our most recent taco stop was at Los Rancheros after it received Review Of The Day on Yelp.
I ordered one carnitas and two chicken tacos (one grilled, one marinated). Husband ordered three tacos with sour cream. I confirmed at the register that grilled jalapenos came with that, as I'd seen in other Yelp pictures. Yes, yes they do.
We had a rather long wait for the food - it seemed long given how many people were in there (not many) but finally it arrived and they'd forgotten our jalapenos and his sour cream.
The tacos were really, really good though! The two salsas were located next to the register and the hot one was actually very warm! The mild was also very tasty. We enjoyed eating the chips and salsa immensely! The tortillas were super fresh. I've probably never had a fresher tortilla. the girl working brought me a plate of jalapenos to make up for the forgotten ones, but it was mostly pickled, not...
Read more$12 for pozole souo, hmm, I think $10 for what I got. Pork was tender but plain, hummus was tender. Looks looks like they use red chill to give color but they forgot to flavor it up. Soup was just right on being greasy. some places you have to wipe the grease from the spoon every time, not good. The y give you enough cabbage, onions, radish and two pieces of lemon which I never agree to, I like Lime, but it's tradition. You 4 tostadas along with it, looks like los pericos tostadas. Overall if I am ever desperate I would eat the pozole hear again, but my search for bomb pozole continues. One negative is the bone I got, nothing but grease and it doesn't belong in a poloze, that bone I believe was pata, pork feet which belongs in a menudo or sopa de pata. Salavdorians eat sopa de pata but it's made way different than pozole. Base on my cooking skills I see why the soup is tasteless, they are subing...
Read moreThis place was great! I lovely ladies take my order n I decided to get one of my favorites, Al Pastor tacos! These tacos were different than most. They use grilled onions which I love n the taste of the pastor was just right not salty or over seasoned. The beautiful ladies that took my order were very nice n were very suprised to see that I speak spanish fluently(if u seen me u wouldnt think i speak a lick of spanish)! Place was clean n is next door to the super market they have! The only downfall about this place is they dont serve beer! But hey! Go next door to the market n...
