Rudeboy Jamaican Carryout — Restaurant in Concord

Hello, my name is Jennifer Liz, I am an avid reviewer from New Jersey currently visiting NC. My Best Friend & I decided to order from this restaurant through Grubhub. The food was, to say the least, TERRIBLE! We ordered Oxtail, collard greens, Chicken tender w/French fries & Brown Stew Chicken. The Oxtail was tough with NO PEAS in the rice, and barely seasoned! Collard greens straight from a can with sprinkled pepper. They decided it was okay to give rice instead of french fries as advertised on the menu & receipt for the chicken tender platter. AND the worst being the Brown Stew Chicken, it was just plain browned chicken, no stew, no vegetables, no flavor, NO NOTHING BUT DRIED UNSEASONED BROWNED GROSS CHICKEN! I would have given this place a 0 star if I could. Worst Jamaican Food restaurant by far in all the years of my reviews. I absolutely will never recommend this place to anyone. We ordered from this place through DoorDash. First time ordering from this restaurant and 3 out of 5 of our items were missing. We called the restaurant and it’s obvious where their name derives from. I was told that all items were accounted for when they left the restaurant. The attitude was like “too bad, so sad.” The food was bland and not good at all. My curry goat was rubbery and tough and the cabbage had no flavor. My girlfriend said her jerk chicken was bland and tasted dried out. Even though we’ve never had an issue with DoorDash, we called them and was given a partial credit. The food was decent but the customer service was awful. My girlfriend ordered the food online and I went to go pick it up. First issue is they wouldnt honor the coupon for the free plaintains even though you have to place the order to even use it so I ended up paying for it. Second issue is they didnt have the bread for the sandwich I ordered. Why do you have the item on the website if you dont have the ingredients for it? And then I ordered something else but asked if I could still have the fries that I already paid for instead of rice but they wouldnt give them to me. Also the plantains were ice cold like they had been sitting in the fridge. Also upon eating the meal I didnt want I found a sharp pointy chicken bone that I easily could've choked on. Overall not a...
