Updated: we went through the drive thru and told when making our order that they were out of beef. I've never had a bad order from here, BUT the no beef is bad management and I'd imagine a costly mistake. However, I want to be clear... not one bad order, ever and I am so super picky. I live south of St. Louis in a different county. We have two Taco Bell's within a 7 mile radius. They are HORRIBLE.
The food is ALWAYS cold and hard, thrown together (yes, that bad), missing items, and/or bad service. I gave each a few more tries. I mean everybody has an off/bad day.
We tried one again a few months ago and it was the worst TB experience I've EVER had. I called, wasn't rude, and the manager was SO RUDE. I wrote off TB forever. I just figured corporate had lost their care for decent fast food, employees and overall quality. Until yesterday...
This particular TB is how I remember TB being when I was younger. My generation (I'm Gen X) LIVED on TB lol Anyway...
I ordered a taco. You guys... the meat was hot, the lettuce and cheese were cold, and the service was very Taco.
I. Was. FLOORED! It was actually really, really good. My husband and daughter said the same for theirs.
I'll be honest, I do wonder if we just caught them at a really good time (sorry, our local ones have left me a little jaded) or if they're really on their game and have a sense of pride for what they do.
We'll be back again to find out đ I'm at the nearby hospital often.
To the staff working there on 12/1/22 around 2:45 p.m.... THANK YOU! It may seem like a simple thing to be grateful for, but I am.
Y'all actually made a TB Taco taste divine đ, the cook was wearing gloves, I didn't have to wait in the drive thru long at all, and the staff were professional and timely. So, that's why I gave the 5 stars (a rare thing for me). Y'all earned it yesterday. Keep it up... PLEASE!?
See...
Read moreI normally don't have any problems at this location, but today I was disappointed. I ordered a regular menu item with some modifications. Once I got home I realized it was a similar but incorrect item, which I could not eat. Called and said they would replace it. So I drove back (not even the closest location to me) and they had no problem replacing. The cashier was even adamant about making sure the mods were going to be made. Everyone was very nice, and I was even offered a free item for the inconvenience (I declined but I am now regretting it). I felt confident this one would be correct, so I didn't check while I was there, but when I got home I discovered it was the regular item without my modifications. I could still eat it so it's not a total loss, but it stings that I paid extra for an ingredient that I didn't get, and had to drive extra to still end up with the wrong thing. I also didn't get a receipt for the replacement, and didn't get my original receipt back so I can't take their survey and let them know about it.
TLDR: Don't make modifications. Make sure you have right item...
Read moreI ordered online for pick up. Walked into lobby, which was unlocked and watched another customer order at a kiosk. Stood at the counter waiting for assistance for about 5-9 minutes before anyone came to counter, only to be told that their lobby was closed (and yet it wasnât??) and I had to drive through the drive thru for my order. The other customer however was given his food.
Had there been any level of custom service, I wouldnât have wasted so much of my time. I used to work at Taco Bell years ago and this wouldnât have been something that any customer wouldâve experienced. McDonaldâs is often this way too. Never any lobby person actually present at front counter so there really isnât any customer service, just making eye contact with employees who donât actually acknowledge you in any way in any acceptable amount of time. While I am writing this in the heat of the Moment, it is really frustrating the way fast food restaurants have been operating this way for the past...
