The drive thru service was excellent. Everyone got what they ordered and it was correct except for two blizzards. The blizzards were not made correctly. However one was eaten as is but mine was my birthday blizzard from the app. I worked at DQ 21 years ago and I have been a customer of DQ for longer. I have been to many all over the country. I know when they make it wrong. I just do. And for my birthday I want it made correctly. So I went inside and politely informed them of the issue and the girl who made it insisted she made it correctly and had a very bad attitude. Eventually after arguing with me she reluctantly made a new one and it was also made wrong. She clearly doesn't know how to make it and that's fine but she must have a way better attitude to learn the right way. And when I worked at DQ my boss taught me the customer is always right. No matter if they are or not you make them happy. That's customer service. In this case I was right but this employee had incredibly rude and such unbelievably bad customer service I can't believe she even has a job in the industry! She gave up and told the manager who came out and made it correctly for me so thank you sir for fixing the issue but it shouldn't have come to that. I've been involved with DQ longer than that employee girl has been alive so she could have used this experience to grow but instead I got rude and disrespectful attitude. Very...
Read moreFirst, the site I was given for more information didn't work. I will describe my experience here. My husband and I stopped at Concordia to get a bite to eat before we continued home. I was greeted by a male employee with his head down on the cash register. I waited a couple of minutes and said, "Excuse me, three times, and no response. Only when a second male employee came up did the other one wake up. The bad thing was it seemed he fell asleep taking a drive thru order. He stammered and said into the headset that can you repeat that order, I'm having trouble with my headset. Never greeted properly by the 2nd one, just what did we want to order. The wait time was ok. I was disappointed with the burger as it was way over cooked, dry, and tasteless. They put a lot of big chunks of onions on it, some being as big as 1-inch slices. They also put a handful of pickles on it. I like pickles, but 12 was too much. The fries were done in old oil, and they forgot my husband's shake. They allowed a customers kids to run around the restaurant, yelling and screaming, playing tag. The restaurant was dirty, and there were so many flies inside. Landing on us, landing on our food. We ended up throwing most of our meal away as it was not very tasty, and we couldn't keep the flies away. I won't be stopping...
Read moreWe stopped in Concordia for a break in travels. We had all been to this store before and a pleasant experience. We were there around 6:30 PM or so. The store was filthy! Not just because of the food and trash on the floors but the obvious lack of day to day maintenance of the walls, windows and general cleanliness. The employees kept apologizing to all customers saying they were shorthanded. That is not the customers problem. The orders were not come out very well and fries, etc looked they had been fried in old oil. We had two choclate dip cones and a chocolate sundae. My two sisters suffered distressed stomach problems almost immediately. I did not. We decided the ice cream was kind of "off" and I threw my dip cone after only eating 1/4 or less. My sister went to the bathroom but came right and said was too dirty and disgusting to use. When she made a point of telling an admittedly busy employee as we were leaving and she told when they had time they could do something about it. This store does not project the image that Dairy Queen works hard to advertise and is a real detriment to your image. I will certainly not plan my trip to take a break there again. I am through that area about 7-8...
