I really wanted to like this place. Really I did. Such a nicely laid out interior, comfortable well-placed seating, attractive patio in back, accomodating staff, locals chatting away at the tables. Great light lunch menu and reasonable prices. But the turkey cranberry sandwich was as bad as any I've had, very, very soggy, and had essentially no cranberry, just a trace of red on one inside face of the bread. And slow? Really, fifteen minutes to prepare a sandwich and a salad to go, with only one other customer pending? What was going on back there in the kitchen? Read moreThe first time I went in, everything was made perfectly! I was visiting from another state, and thought yay I found my coffee shop! The next day I went in, and got coffee again… Different person, turned out to be about a three star experience. On the return trip before coming home, I went in and was charged over $14 for two drinks that I just called and confirmed equaled around $11 and my drink was made wrong - even when I stated it was. Wrong they did not offer to fix it...

Read moreA girlfriend and I stopped in for a quick lunch and I was pleasantly pleased. Being from the east coast, I love fast service and a great Chai Latte. Well, that is exactly what I got at Jitters. The Chai spices were perfect! I also ordered the homemade chicken rice soup and it was so comforting. For a coffee house, the food was excellent. The reason for only 4 stars is because it was a little pricey and although my soup came out almost immediately, it was a little awkward to start eating while my girlfriend sat patiently waiting for her half sandwich and cup of soup she ordered for...
