Seven Days Diner — Restaurant in Concordia

Love this place and the food unfortunatly today was a serious fail. Ordered my food only part of it was brought out. When my steak, eggs, hashbrowns came out the hashbrowns were raw and cold, by the way when I ordered them I asked for them to be almost burnt. Well they came out raw. I told the waitress I cannot eat them raw. She took them back and then another waitress came over and said they dont have time to cook my food the way I ordered it. I told them take it back and I will not anything. The main waitress came back and said they would fix them, when they came back still near raw. I didnt eat them. Our orders all came out at different times. Orders were missing things like toast pancakes, eggs with no cheese. The food we did get was partially cold and still not right. The waitress was scared to death to take the order back to the cook and said he screams at them. The menu was even very condensed paper menu so it wasn't like the had the entire menu to cook from. Our waitress and the main waitress who we always have said they are regulars here and apologized. The waitress who said they were not fixing anything never apologized. Great local restaurant. You can tell everyone knew everyone else. We came in early for breakfast on our way home to Ca. The father of the family who owns and runs the place greeted us and was so funny. He made us feel very welcome. One of the daughters was the only server when we came in and she quickly explained that and apologized for it. Another sister (I assume as they look similar) came in half way through our visit to help. Even though it was just one server for a good chunk of the time, our cups were never empty and we got our food in a timely manner. The food itself was good. Good enough that we bagged up leftovers which we typically don't do. The decor was homely and the bathrooms were well kept. There were several families that were there when we came in but it quickly filled up. You could tell everyone knew each other as everyone said hi to other tables. Thd place was nice and dont get me wrong it seems like a honest place of business however they were out of everything. We ordered a combo platter appetizer and it comes with onion rings, they were out but still charged us full price. I also had onion rings with my meal of course they didn't give them to me so they offered other items. I asked for a baked potato instead, it was cooler then room temp and they were out of sour cream. I continued to over hear the waitress tell customers that they were out of items. It was not busy by any means. My tenderloin sandwich was soggy and bland, presentation was lacking in all accounts. The appetizer was just thrown into a plate and was not worth $10 very disappointed. Omelette was over cooked, brown all over. The service was great and the waitress was super sweet and the host was nice as well. Prices were fair. Bottom line I will more than likely not...
