1832 Distilling — Local services in Concordia

We had a fantastic tour of the Distillery. Our son who is stationed here in Missouri took us and the gentleman Jon was absolutely wonderful. My husband and the rest of our party was just amazed at the whole process of the Rum and Whiskey distillation. Jon answered all our questions and then some. Explained step by step of the process of how their product came to be. We even got a waitlist for their bourbon. We did also do the Taste Test and the different whiskeys and Rum were absolutely wonderful. Jon also allowed us to see them doing the tails, hearts, and showed us how they fill up the barrels. Not old enough to drink when I went there, but my parents came to town and so my wife and I took them there to try the whiskey. They said they loved the place, the tour was amazing. I learned a lot about how much it takes and what it takes to run the distillery. The back story on how they started was quite interesting. We were also informed on how labeling and marketing worked. Definitely will be returning whenever I’m old enough to drink so I can do the taste testing. Jon was a friendly person, he was very thorough with explaining processes and how everything was made. Driving home and saw a billboard. Decided to stop by. Nick showed us the facility and let us taste the goods. I loved his passion for what he does. I loved the products as well. The chile spiced rum is something to write home about. I'm imagining using it in food. Nick is a Marine as well so we had a great conversation about our military experience.

Please, please, please, if you're in the area, stop at this distillery. I plan on stopping in again when we drive through.
