TISSUE FARM — Restaurant in Confluence

I am visiting at Paddlers Lane with a group of friends from high school (6 of us). We ran out of coffee and stopped on our way back from a day of sightseeing! He has a beautiful selection of coffees, but alas, they were all beans! We had no grinder! Our trusty representative came out to the car and let us all know. She relayed the message and said that “Pope” would grind it at his home and we could come pick it up at 5:30 when he closed. We said that’s great, go ahead, pay for it and we’ll come back! Well, we explained where we were staying and he ended up grinding it and hand delivering it to us, since Paddlers Lane was just down the road and he was familiar with the Chalet where we are staying. Great coffee spot for the fam. Small selection of delicious baked goods available plus yummy speciality coffee drinks. Loved learning about the history of the building and exploring the attached art gallery. Our baby ran around in the open space and liked to watch the train go by, while my older two tried some origami, and me and my husband enjoyed a coffee and admired some beautiful art. After camping at Outflow and a long bike ride the previous day, we decided to look through town for a chance of getting some coffee before another day of riding. I had low expectations.
