McDonald's — Restaurant in Conneaut Township

If they don't get my order wrong, the milkshake machine is "down" after I drive 7 miles to get there. Went to pick up cheeseburgers only to be told they're no longer on sale 'after' we get to the window. Same with the breakfast sandwiches, no longer on sale. The last time I was there, the woman in front of me waited a good 5 minutes for a coffee! Nobody else in line, nobody at the counter. I almost turned off the car!

Thought I'd be smart & call ahead to see if they served the 'Bacon Clubhouse Burger' in June, the female mgr told me yes! So I made the trip & apparently confused girl at drive thru when ordering it. She asked me to drive to 1st window. Told her I called & was told they had it. Mgr came to window & proceeded to tell me how I must be confusing it with the 'Bacon Smokehouse Burger' I explained that both burgers were on McDonald's website & not only was I NOT confused, but I had just called! She asked if I wanted any other sandwich. I told her no, but I will take the drink along with my receipt & her name. As I looked at her name tag, she covered it with her hand, took it off, & told me I didn't need her name!! When I drove to pick up window, I asked the young man there for her name. She came around the corner & stopped him & asked me why I needed it. Finally she said her name was Deanna. Don't know if that was the truth since she still hadn't put her tag back on. When I got home, I went to the website listed on my receipt to tell how my visit was. I explained all of it. The questionnaire asked if I'd like a call back. I said yes & added my name & phone. I have never been contacted by McDonald's. It's no wonder people get such crappy service there!

Be nice if another fast food came to Albion, maybe that would give the 'Albion McDonald's' cause to care then!

I don’t normally post reviews about places but today I’m making an exception. There was some confusion with the total on our order and in trying to understand why my total went from $11 back to $14 after adding a free sandwich. Apparently when you order something that is on special ie 2 for $4 you’re not allowed to use any other discount. I had a military discounts prior to adding the free sandwich. So I asked for the extra sandwich to be removed and just add the military discount back on the order. JENNA the “manager” got very disrespectful when I asked for the military discount to be put back on the order. Apparently she has never served in any form of military service. She has no clue the things that military people go through or see especially when they are called to war. My husband served 2 tours to Iraq and has seen some things that would give people nightmares. I’m offended that she walked away and stated that she didn’t want to argue with me anymore. First of all I wasn’t arguing and if she was unable to explain clearly why one couldn’t add something then maybe she needs to take some classes in communication. I like to understand and know what I’m paying for and why my total went up. I respect policies that state you can’t do something but to be disrespectful and make a state about the “stupid military” when you have clearly NEVER served in the MILITARY or Lost anyone to war that was in the military. Slow is an understatement. We went through the drive thru at 615pm for a happy meal for my daughter who was on her way to a friends house so we were in hurry as most people are when they choose"fast food". There were no customers inside at all.There were 2 cars in front of me who were already waiting for their food. We ordered a chicken nugget happy meal and that was all. After a 15 minute wait just to get to the food window i was told to pull forward as it would be another 3 minutes for the nuggets. Are you freakin kidding me?? What were they doing for the last 15 minutes. After another 6 minutes the manager finally brought out the happy meal. A simple sorry for the wait would have been nice but he said nothing. ...
