I moved to the area 10 years ago. I went to every pizza place in the area trying to find good pizza. I found my favorite. There are some runners up but I like the complete experience here at this establishment.
I like how efficiently this business is run. The staff are professional, courteous and really friendly. I like there is an eat in option. The menu is amazing. So far my favorite pizza is The Widow Maker. I will try them all before I leave this world and they have quite a few tasty sounding specialties.
So far in my food quest in this area, I have found they have the best fried pickles I've ever had. They are spears. They are not greasy at all.
I can't wait to try the pasta and judging by the large amount of customers coming in and ordering it, I think it's legit.
One more cool thing about this pizzeria. You can get any pizza you want Sicilian style for a couple Dollars. It's good. Sicilian pizza, sometimes called "sfincione" or "pan" pizza, has a fluffy, spongy bread base crust baked in a deep pan or dish. It's not Chicago style Pizza. Their Sicilian crust is light and airy for a thick crust. Very tasty and surprisingly big. Step down a size unless you want a lot of leftovers which are great for breakfasts and lunches. I usually like thin crusts and tried the their Sicilian on a whim. I was not disappointed. I look forward to...
Read moreFood was AMAZING!! Eggplant Parmesan was to die for! However, service was not that good. It was busy, and I understand it was packed, maybe they were short handed. All the food took awhile. I had to ask the waiter for bread for our meals, the kids meals had been out and mine came later, and still no bread, so I had to ask(Bread was delicious!). Also, there are hidden prices. I asked to have Marinara sauce on my Egg plant parmesan to make sure it was not meat sauce(this happened to me at another restaurant). I was charged $2.49 cents for Marinara sauce, it is not written on the menu that there is an upcharge and the waitress did not tell me, I definitely would not have paid $2.49 for marinara sauce(if other sauces were meat free, and I would have asked if other sauces would be meat free) if I would have known. This should be...
Read moreI’m a big fan of pizza. But this is just an Average pizza…Came out fairly fast and as ordered. 3/5 as far as taste goes.
The reason for the 1 star review is because I do not like or agree with a 10% surcharge without any signs or disclosure on the buildings.
First time customer. I walked in and got the takeout special. 2 pizzas for $20. Was charged $23.60 with tax n surcharge. I never received or was offered a receipt. (I found out looking at other reviews about the extra undisclosed charge)
If the pizza was really good I wouldn’t have wasted my time writing this review. But it was average at best.
But again. NOT COOL CHARGING PEOPLE MONEY WITHOUT LETTING THEM KNOW BEFOREHAND!
Why not just raise the prices??? Or put out a sign...
