Frias Deleite — Restaurant in Conroe

I really really want to give this place a 5 star review, but there’s a few things that are holding me back. It’s a very cute and clean business in the main area. The restroom, however, was yucky. It needed to be cleaned and there were no paper towels or hand dryer for washing your hands…not sure what that means for employees. The two times I’ve been here, it’s young teenage girls working and they need a lot of guidance with customer service skills. The menu itself is awesome and they offer so many delicious looking treats. The first time we came, we got ice cream and it was great. But today I ordered a green smoothie and it took over 10 minutes to make and was made completely in the back behind closed doors. I thought that was strange since the juicer and everything else is out on the front counter behind the ice cream. The smoothie didn’t taste like it had the ingredients listed on the menu. A hidden gem for ice cream lovers!

I was on the hunt for a local ice cream spot—something unique, not a chain—and this place popped up in my search. I’m glad it did.

From the moment I walked in, the place felt inviting. It was clean, fresh-smelling, and visually appealing. The menu was clearly laid out, prices were very reasonable, and the gentleman behind the counter was genuinely friendly and welcoming.

We ordered a few flavours we thought would be good—and they ended up better than expected. Creamy, rich, and clearly made with care.

There was a steady stream of customers the whole time we were there, which says a lot. It’s clearly well-run and loved by locals.

Nice place, ice cream is amazing, place is super clean but the younger female who works here has a awful attitude… my daughter ordered a cotton candy milkshake which was made with chocolate fudge that we didn’t ask for… it’s our first and last time coming here…. Asked for them to remake it the girl got a attitude.. I guess bc I don’t speak Spanish she doesn’t want to deal with me… pretty sad for a company that just opened up...
