Pumpkin Spice Concha Surprise

I drove after work to this bakery in Conroe to see if they have the "Pan de Muerto," "Bread of the Dead," for the Day of the Dead celebration. Was I surprised not only to see the traditional sweet Mexican pastries and the Pan de Muerto but I was surprised to see the Pumpkin spice Concha going viral from the well-known bakery in all social media. I can not emphasize enough that their Pumpkin Spice Concha is absolutely amazing. The bread is soft while the pumpkin filling is rich and creamy, keeping the bread moist. Let's not forget the sweet baked icing that brings the Concha its popularity.

But in all honesty, this bakery is absolutely great because it really makes the Mexican sweet bread moist, and just like I remember in Mexico. I tasted the other wonderful pastries bread that I couldn't stop eating. Went today for some delicious shells and flaky cheese stuffers, been coming here often and would consider myself a regular. Always great service and a clean environment never had any issues until today. Gathered my bread and came to the front, requested to have the cheese stuffers at the top and strawberry shells at the bottom along with the other bread. A very bad-faced employee ignored me whilst putting everything shoved in just how it fell first. Then asked about the pastries specifically, an order for a cake and some custom chocolate strawberries i’m planning for an event ALSO got IGNORED, no surprise here now🙄. Fine, paid for my bread with a 50$ bill, asked for a receipt and went about my day with NO customer assistance or adequate and when i got home i got charged 12$ MORE with the wrong amount of CHANGE!!! Let me start off by saying thank you very much to El Caracol Panaderia, for the excellent customer service everybody seemed positive and working really hard, if this panaderia keeps running the way it is, you guys will be the best around Cleveland ,Conroe area no doubt. when I bit into my bread, it brought back memories when I was a little a boy running to my neighborhood , panaderia for a delicious warm Concha awesome job .
