Burney's Sweets & More — Restaurant in Contiguous United States

My wife asked me to pick up some Creme Cheese Croissants about 6 months ago and they are usually great! The Cream Cheese, Glazed, Cinnamon, etc. My only rant is when I ordered 2 dozen of them. The 1st dozen was all Cream Cheese & the 2nd dozen were mixed. Well when I got home we noticed that the Cream Cheese ones were extra stuffed. There was an excessive amount of the Cream Cheese in each one. I called and explained this to the young lady that took my call. She apologized, which was great customer service. I went in the next morning with my receipt and asked for manager.

After explaining our issue to her, she asked if we wanted to purchase another dozen in place of the over filled ones. I told her that was okay. I was not looking to "purchase" another dozen for the original price. I would have accepted a replacement dozen, that were filled maybe half of what they normally do. So I was out of that bill.

Over a year ago we'd get two dozen of the same order previously stated and the Cream Cheese one's didn't have as much filling as the ones recently purchased. I guess it's new management, with an updated filling policy.

Nevertheless, we got some glazed donuts this past weekend. The donuts were moist (not dry like most places around here)! We usually get Krispy Kreme donuts but decided to give these a try. They were nice sized donuts, great glaze ratio and perfect sweetness to batter. So I guess we'll get donuts from here...

i had been a regular customer at burney's, visiting about once a week since moving to hampstead from kazakhstan in 2021. under the new ownership, the warmth and charm that once made this place so special has declined. poor management and communication between owner and workers. the place is full of chaos. the owner’s customer service, especially in response to criticism, is not a strong suit. this is displayed in many google review responses. referencing "my team/we" instead of "i/me" and taking responsibility for insufficient staff training. better training would greatly benefit employee retention and improve efficiency. brings me back to the time when i tried to run a lemonade stand at age 9 with my brothers, and my father had to intervene and prevent me from driving the family towards bankruptcy and a report to the department of...

I had never tried these filled croissants it's something we don't have back up north. So I decided to get them a try I took the cashier's advice and got the Reese's I also got a vanilla buttercream and chocolate buttercream filled. These were awful the drizzle on the Reese's was not the kind that dried like normal drizzle it was pure fudge frosting on top which made it a absolute mess to even get out of the box also with the croissants being dipped in some type of glaze plus the peanut butter filling it was so sweet you couldn't eat it. Te drizzle and then the vanilla buttercream both tasted like tub icing that you buy from the grocery store. I also got an oatmeal cream pie cupcake. The icing on it just tasted like butter/crisco.
