We recently had the pleasure of dining at I Luv Pho, a 24/7 Vietnamese restaurant that left us truly impressed. From the moment I stepped inside, we were greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly made me feel at home.
The highlight of our dining experience at I Luv Pho was undoubtedly their delicious spring rolls. Bursting with fresh ingredients and vibrant flavors, these rolls were a delightful start to the meal. The combination of crispy vegetables, tender meat, and fragrant herbs created a perfect balance of textures and tastes. Dip them in the accompanying sauce, and you have a culinary treat that will leave you craving more.
Another standout dish at I Luv Pho was their delectable Bánh Mì. Served on a crusty baguette, these Vietnamese sandwiches were a mouthwatering delight. Each bite offered a symphony of flavors, from the savory marinated meats to the tangy pickled vegetables, all complemented by a drizzle of delicious sauce. The combination of textures and the quality of ingredients showcased the expertise and care put into every dish.
Not to be missed at I Luv Pho is their namesake dish, the pho. Steaming bowls of aromatic broth filled with tender rice noodles and a choice of meats or vegetables were an absolute delight. The broth had a rich depth of flavor, and the ingredients were cooked to perfection. Each spoonful was a comforting experience that warmed both the stomach and the soul.
The service at I Luv Pho was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were happy to provide recommendations and ensure that every diner's needs were met. The restaurant's clean and inviting ambiance added to the overall dining experience, creating a pleasant environment to savor the flavors of Vietnam.
In conclusion, I Luv Pho is a Vietnamese culinary gem that lives up to its name. With its mouthwatering spring rolls, delightful Bánh Mì, and comforting pho, this 24/7 restaurant offers a delightful array of flavors that will satisfy any Vietnamese food enthusiast. Whether you visit for a quick bite or a late-night meal, I Luv Pho is sure to leave you with a deep appreciation for the deliciousness of...
Read moreWe entered the restaurant around 6:30PM on a Friday, and it was surprisingly empty. We got a table next to a window, and ordered immediately after we sat down and got drinks. The food came pretty quick: the pho usually comes first (since it's just broth and noodles) and the rice/vermicelli/sandwich dishes usually come later.
Overall, the atmosphere is really hip and modern. The restaurant is well lit, and the decor is really nice. This would be a suitable place for a dinner date or a late night snack since it's 24 hour.
I got kinda bored with pho, so I ordered the C30 broken rice with the 7 different meats (I don't know the vietnamese name) which sorta allows you to have a taste of all the cooked meats that the restaurant offers. It also came with picked cabbage/carrots, which had a sour pickly taste that complimented well with the sweetness of the meat. I thought the pork chop was juicy and cooked perfectly, and it was my favorite item from the dish. Overall the meats on the plate were a little too sweet, but that's just my opinion. The broken rice tasted amazing if you pour the fish sauce over it, and is a new taste for me than traditionally cooked rice.
PROS: -Legit chopsticks. Not those splinter-y, cheap ones you find in most Asian restaurants. These are world-class, black-finish bamboo chopsticks you find in 3 Michelin star restaurants. Just kidding, but they were really nice chopsticks though. -Big portions. You're gonna have a really hard time finishing the XL bowl of pho. Even though I noticed that they cut the portion from before, it's still massive. The bowl's so large you can probably hide a dead baby inside it, not like you would. -Variety. If you're not the soup noodle person, don't worry. They offer vermicelli (cold noodles), a ton of rice dishes, and vietnamese subs. These subs are amazing and cheap too, and I usually just order one to go to eat the next day.
CONS: -Language barrier? I tried to order the banh mi and said it several times before the waiter was like "do you mean the vietnamese sandwich...?" Maybe I just suck at pronouncing things haha. I can't really think...
Read moreWe tried placing an order for pickup from the house by calling in, however when we called the phone automatically went to voicemail for a random extension. So we drove out to the location to place our order there. I had a large order so I had written everything down on a piece of paper. When I arrived there was nobody at the counter so we stood there for at least 5 mins before someone came. I was reading my order to the man and it seemed as though he did not understand it. He noticed I was reading off a piece of paper so he took the liberty to take the piece and put in the order himself. He place it and charged us for our order, told us it would take about 25 minutes. So we left the location and when we came back, they were confirming the order and I had noticed there was something missing. I kept asking them to repeat the order to see what I was still waiting on. There was another lady who was asking what I was missing. I told her the order and looked at the menu to which she replied, "that item number is not on any of our locations' menus." Another young lady looked at the order and realized what it was and told the gentleman to which he replied, "oh. I didn't charge them for that." Why not? He had the paper that stated all of the orders. He came over and stood next to me then asked me where it was and I pointed to the item on the paper. He looked at it and said, "we gave you that one already. That's what you said you wanted." Yes. I wanted one of those. We waited for an hour for our whole order when initially it was supposed to be 25 minutes. When they had finished with the missing item, he placed it on the table where we were sitting and just said, "here it is." No apology, no explanation.
When we arrived home, we noticed one of the orders was wrong. Shocker there. Instead of getting two pho dac biet, I got two orders of another pho. This was after the gentleman asked if I really wanted two of the pho dac biets.
The quality and service has really gone downhill since their initial rise in popularity/fame. I don't know that I would try giving them...
